Thought Id make this thread as we have the mood one and you can get your day off your chest and onto here If poss can it be made a sticky??

Ok then!!

Well, I was up at 5:50 to get the tram with my assistant manager. So got to tram station and some bright spark hadnt unlocked both tram machines, so no ticket!! Took a photo as proof and shite myself all way to the station I was going to in case of inspectors. Assistant manager was already there and had forgotten she was meeting me, never mind.

We got sorting out the delivery before we opened at 9. Our boss showed up and he stresses others out cause he is stressed 24/7 and will have a stroke one day! So he stressed out everyone on staff and the cool atmosphere totally changed. The normal staff were snappy and impatient at my as Im just a xmas temp and the other xmas temp, nice guy, did nothing but fuck about! I was only there till 11 anyhoo!!

My mum then took me to my old work place, which is closing down and EVERYONE including mates and my ex are going to be made redundant xmas eve unless we have a crimbo miracle. The customers were so damn rude and clearly didnt give 2 shits my mates were depressed. I nearly went for 1 woman who just butt right into my convo with my mate whom I havent seen for ages!!

My day wasn't too bad. There were hiccups that happened, but nothing appallingly bad.

I couldn't sleep last night, and I ended up getting up at 6.30am this morning only to remember that my first lesson of the day doesn't begin until 11.30. Normally I'd sneak out of the house and get some air, but it was dark and freezing outside. My internet had some difficulties so I couldn't get to the forums.

College itself wasn't too bad. My bus was actually on time this morning (Thank God!). English Literature was the first lesson and we had a lesson on one of Carol Ann Duffy's poems- The Dolphins, an utterly depressing poem about the confinement of poems.

Nothing happened in Politics, and in History, our teacher shot down his promise of letting us watch a segment on the Berlin Wall and instead gave us an essay question. Joy. I think I did badly on that. I can't work that well under pressure.

 

[Abstract Debauchery]

My day has been great. It snowed... In Houston... So I was happy. I walked to the store in the snow instead of driving, although, it did get sort of cold. However, I come from a cold place anyway, so it didn't bother me that much.

It's typically hot as hell in Houston all year around. It's nice to see some change, and I actually don't have a headache for once, so that I was a big bonus right there.

Once again I woke up again with little to no sleep, about three hours. I had a bad night staying up and writing reports after work, and I had to stay late which was really aggrivating.

Despite this, I had a pretty easy day through school so my mood improved and ultimately reached a state of indifference. I got home and started other tasks, though in a manner of my choosing. No work today so I feel relaxed. Tomorrow will probably suck with a nine and a half hour shift, but oh well. At least I work in the morning so I have the night to look forward to.

In essence, today was one of the best days I've had in awhile and the first day off I've had in about a week. A full time job and still being in high school is really frustrating, but getting a head start on my soon to come economical problems is a smart move, albeit stressful.

Hmm I feel as if this thread is just another repeat of the 'What's Your Mood' thread.

People generally get the same message across in the What's Your Mood thread as they're telling you what got them in whatever mood they're in and then tell us about their day anyway.

I think this will be a double up on that really, so I'm going to close it sorry guys.
