Ok so im ill off school and im watching Advent Children (Like ya do) and it gets to one of my favourite parts of the film - right before cloud destroys bahamut and when there all throwning him further Tifas right at the top but the question im asking you is :

HOW did She get THAT high?

She cant fly like vincent - doesnt have ninja skills like Yuffie and hell she didnt even fight off bahamut at all she just stood there with denzel.

So how did she get that high?

It DOESNT MAKE SENSE -_-

Its 3:42am - the mind tends to wonder so that is why it is indeed such a random question :lol:
 
yeah i know its a movie but still its fun to question things :D

from now on im assuming that she bounced up, but its fun to hear other peoples teorie too :lol:
 
Perhaps she has amazing martial arts jumping techniques or some crap? :O That's always what I thought. Then again, the whole jumping thing was stupid, as no one can jump that high.
 
She arrived there at the same time Cloud did, and stole the spotlight from there on out. Tifa never got a chance to fight it. that ticked me off some.

But anyhoo, did you not see her mad skillz in the church? All she had to do was to jump. Not all that distance in one jump, but many, naturally. let's say that 1 jump=10 stories. That's a pretty big jump. And she's got a m4d reflex save, so any stumbles could be easily recovered from. So that's how she got up that high.

No, in the church scene i saw Tifa getting Pwned By Loz in about 10 seconds after he stopped toying with her, but i have to (grudginly) admit that the flower part was mesmorising.

and i think the reason they didnt show Tifa participating in the battle between Bahamut is because Tifas fist agaisnt bahamut would be about as effective as trying to kill 50 people with a feather.

And i doubt that she could jump THAT high - when not even Cloud could, i imagine that Yuffie and vincent helped her while cloud was getting ready to be launched into the air.
 
Meh, well remember her fight with Loz? (I think that's his name) She jumped up and caught him in the air and slammed him back down? o_O Well, she jumped that high...so basically she can jump high. ^_^

Do notice, that the primate fighting her had electricity on his weapon. This is very bad, since if you were hit even once, your reflexes are practically shot. The whole nervous system isn't responding, since the electrical charge that went through the body scrambled all the messages sent by the brain to the muscles in the nerves. You literally would be unable to move, or if you could, very little. It does, take a few seconds for the electrical system of your body to straighten up, but notice that the primate did not give her any seconds. Also notice that when the primate had her pinned up against the piller and zapped her again, the electrical charge blew apart the stone piller. And it had to pass through Tifa's body to reach the piller. With a charge that strong, it's a wonder she was even breathing. Also, she would have been able to prevent getting into such a situation but marlene was there, and Tifa had to protect her. The bench would have been easy to dodge, but Tifa had to protect marlene and so she couldn't.

No, it's clearly because she got there with Cloud. As soon as Cloud got there what happened? Everyone else stopped fighting the so-called 'dragon' and let Cloud go to town. Since he showed up, the camera focused on him, and so Tifa never really got a chance to have a go at the flying leviathan. And what about Cait Sith? He didn't even fight at all, he just gave Red a headache.

Well, no, I never said that she could jump 10 stories. I was just using it as an example. And I highly doubt yuffie or vincent helped her. She does not need any 'help'. Every character in this movie is capable of covering great distance in a single bound. If you've seen the movie, this fact becomes quite obvious.
 
Didn't you know? Her boobs are actually inflates that can lift her up into the air...heheh, just kidding, I adore Tifa :) For some reason that instantly popped into my head as soon as I read the first post...LOL.

I think with her quick reflexes and powerful jumps that she vaulted herself up that high--not in one big jump, but by propelling herself off of each story that she landed on (jumping several stories at a time, of course)...unless Vincent and Yuffie helped her up.
