But for most people, that is a lot quicker. But that really depends on how much you blow ass at stupid minigames.
Alternatively, you can capture 10 of every monster in Spira to get 60 Dark Matters, which allow you to break the damage limit. I couldn't be fucked with that retarded chocobo minigame. D :

You can get break damage easily by getting the celestial weapons, the mini games aren't taht hard they can just be frustrating. Well, VERY frustrating...

You can get break damage limit in a number of ways. The first and best way is to obtain the celestial weapons along with the appropriate crests and sigils. (Sucks for you if you missed out the sun crest, as you have to go through dark Bahamut) The second less suitable way is to get 60 dark matters, and create the sword yourself. but normal swords take defense into account, unlike celestial weapons. So you will rarely do 99999 damage even with 255 Str.
