How quick have you beaten Zodiark?

So i was playing final fantasy XII the other day and was up to versing Zodiark. My characters were around level 65 and i had the excalibur on vaan. I wanted to test myself so i got out my watch and timed the battle to see how long it would take to beat him.

I gave all my characters the usual buffs such as protect, shell, haste, bravery and i stuck them all on berserk and bam killed him in exactly 47 seconds including the darkja he used at the start.

I found him to be far too easy so for those who have beaten him. Did you find him hard and how long roughly did it take you to beat him?
 
Wow. 47 seconds. I'm yet to beat him, sadly, because even though my characters are at the 80's level, I keep getting owned by Darkja.
 
It took me more like 47 minutes than 47 seconds...although I was around Level 50, and had some terrible luck with Darkja at the beginning. Although, even if I hadn't, I doubt I would have been able to kill him that fast @_@
 
Well, around a minute or so. The trick is to always have Shell on yourself because Darkja has a chance of inflicting instant death on a character and if he's buffed up with Faith the chances of instant death happening are even greater. You have to have Shell before you even enter the room to face him and use dispel immediately before he uses Darkja. Have someone as a healer and then let two berserked characters with Toursesol and Excalibur hack away and he's done.
 
Excalibur? Lol, I haven't even found that thing... but it was real easy whaling on him with a Scorpion Tail, Tournesol, and Ragnarok. I think I spent more time putting up buffs than actually killing him ;)
 
47 seconds?! That's crazy! o_O

I found the battle against him to be extremely hard, and my characters were leveled somewhere in the 70s. I had both excalibur and the ultimate weapon, but I didn't have Zodiark. All in all, it took me around 5 minutes I'd say to finish him off, and when I did it was just pure luck because one more hit from him and I'd have been dead.
 
It his possible to kill it around 1 Min. But at lvl 65? Its hard to believe, maybe you could record a video and put it up so we can see it?

As for me I have beaten him twice I was in both playthroughts around lvl 80 and killed him in 1-2 Mins.

On this one I started a few days ago, I'm still at Elder Wyrm Boss.
 
i have fought him many times but never won but it wold never take me 47 seconds i have heard that zodiark is quite powerful but i dont know becuse i dont have him on any file 47 seconds man thats crazy
 
Here's a video of someone doing it in under a minute (if you don't count the cut scene at the start, and the time it takes for Darkja)


But everyone there is level 99.
 
Lol, It took me like two hours considering I kept dieing at lvl 80, I finally got so pissed I turned off my game and walked away, turns out I came back thirty minutes later and beat him in 5 minutes >.<

As much as i would love to i don't have a video camera and my phone is so poor it doesn't even record videos. I plan on buying one soon so i can do playthroughs of all these games.

As for that video i watched that ages ago and it sorta inspired me to beat zodiark in under a minute. I had Basch with the masamune and genji gloves so he was doing around 5 combos.
 
I didnt find him hard in the least. But then again when i battled him my characters where 93 and basche had the tournesol and vaan the masamune with genji gloves. I didn't check the time unfortunately but all i know is that one second he was there then the next he was yelling out his last battle cry lol
