I actually never knew that! How dumb am i! :confused: But to be fair, I was like 11 when I played it last, so I'll just blame it on that then.... :rolleyes:
 
I caught that on my first playthrough, but that's probably because I'm a story completionist - that is, I'm not a completionist in the sense of wanting to max out character stats, but rather I have to finish every side-quest and talk to every single NPC three times to make sure I don't miss any minute insignificant details about the FFVIII world.
 
Seeing as I only played the game in 2005? I already knew most of the plot. I'd like to think I would pick that up though.
 
I think I picked up on that the first time through. I mean, it probably didn't click for a while, but I remember yelling something about figuring out who Rinoa's mother was.
 
I realized that from the 2nd time actually, coz I didn't care about what happens in "the world", coz it's sounds stupid to me!
 
Hey, I never knew that Julia was Rinoa's mother. AND to think I've completed it five times... I probably never noticed that because I was like "kill Ultimecia now.... level up Squall... and how do I play that chocobo game?"
 
it took me a bit more thinking to get that through my skull. looking back now, i cant believe how dumb i am because it WAS pretty obvious.
