This thread is for the story of how you beat inward chaos. It's simple, tell the character you used, the equipment if you can, and the accessory build you had them with. I will go first.

I used Warrior of light with his exclusive weapon at its best. The rest of the equipment was just what worked. Basically only being the best he had. For a build I had brave boost on block and also a good wall rush hp damage increase with many many boosters. He had full accessory slots filled with those two, boosters, and one resin so I could have a full EX gauge. The EX gauge may prove to be your best defense.

1st battle: I let him hit me a couple times until he inflicted break. With his brave built, in the first round, he always spams the same two moves. I can't remember the name, but the one with his sword and all that fire that smashes you into the ground, and he randomly throws Soul of Oblivion in the mix rarely. with this, when the firs starts to glow aroung you, wait for the oppurtune moment to dodge and make sure you dodge FORWARD so you jump in the air, the use one of your shield attacks to hit him while he is in the hair, you may have to throw the shield upward (This ability should be teamed with Bitter End) and get brave. If he does soul of Oblivion ever, just dash and hit him, that easy. When you get your brave back, repeat the process but pull out your Bitter End of Rune blade. After this he will try and break you again but don't let him. at this point, shield of light is your friend. Use his HP attacks to make him vulnerable, and guard his brave attacks for a massive brave boost.

2nd battle: DO NOT LET HIM BREAK YOU THIS TIME OR SHINRYUU WILL HELP HIM TOO MUCH!!! If he breaks you he will freeze bravery and do demons dance. IF this does happen, dodge as soon as you see him teleport everytime and you might be good. If he does manage to hit you with one, then its EX mode time to knock him back and follow it up with either bitter end, rune blades, of shield of light. then use the ex burst so you can start building up your EX force sooner in case he does it again. repeat done as in step one with this in your head.

3rd battle: Do the same as you did in the 2nd battle but be more cautious. Block more for bigger brave boost of fantastic sizes :awesome: and don't get hit. When he does utter chaos, move to where the circles are not lit (If you didn't already know)

Thats how I did it and I totally raped him...

I used Cloud.

Ifrit Summon, Fenrir as weapon and had Maximilian, Drill and don't remember the other, Blue Moon or something. For accessiories I had Champion Belt (+25% physical damage) and boosted that one with max boosting accessories (except one where I had a Phoenix Down activated).

First battle:

I've used some skills before I head into battle, so he had 50% hp (like 5xxx). I waited for him to do his first bravery attack, I dodged/blocked it, went forward and did Omnislash v5 or Finishing touch (depending on if I blocked or dodged). Then I usually inflicted Break on him due to my First strike activated. And then he's dead.

Second battle:

Before I engaged his battle piece I took the potion on the battle field and saved it for this fight. Just like the first one, I waited for him to do his first bravery attack (which he always does in the beginning of the match), dodge/block and then Omnislash v5/Finishing Touch, usually inflicted break at the beginning, if I didn't I'd still have Omnislash to kill him off with.

Third battle:

Here I didn't really had any tactic. Cloud VS. Chaos, both with 9999 hp. I dodged and blocked all I could. Gogo Omnislash v5, sure does kick ass!

On my old file I used Squall, he had Lionheart and a massive EX build with Lufenian gear and EX accessories (dragonfly orb, pearl necklace, gravitorb etc, with skills such as brv higher than base, 100% HP etc. Thanks to regeneration I was good to go)

In the first battle I just kept abusing beat fang to rip his BRV to shreds, then followed up by guarding and using aerial circle/blasting zone

Second battle got a bit more interesting, here I focused on dodging and using rough divide, with aerial circle as a shield to his spinning brave attack

Third battle... Utter Chaos abuse >_> I was doing more dodging than attacking here and towards the end I was almost dead but got in a lucky blasting zone before he finished me off.

PS: I was in EX mode at all times here, Squall's brave rape game is MUCH stronger that way, so if you use Squall or others with powerful EX modes, avoid using Burst unless you have EXP to HP.

On my current run i'm gunning for Cecil and i'll update ye on him when I get him ready

I played normally against every character except chaos. Since I was lazy, I just equiped the character with resins and OHKOed them each time with one combo.
