How Cloud Strife gets the Buster Sword

Ok i just got done beating the FFVII:Chrisis Core
ok
How Cloud Strife got his sword:
Ok near the middle of the game Zack has to kill this guy named Angeal,
[going into flashback of game]
Angeal when he started at the Shinra Company his father forged a sword the the Buster Blade and has had this sword ever since
[back to topic]
So when you kill Angeal cause he turns bad and all in his last words he says "Take this sword zack in the name of my honor" so zack get the buster blade
im like :holyshit: when i got it because i was happy.
so till the end of the game zack uses the sword
and at the end he gives the sword to cloud thats how Cloud Strife gets the Buster Sword because Cloud is become a SOILDER at the Shinra Company

but after all he was, was a piece of shit till he got that sword he was a nobody till he got that sword there you have it guys.:ohshit:

cause everyone thinks cloud is the shit and stuff when hes not its really angeal and zack just to say
 
Hmmm...Well, at the very least, you could've had a different thread title explaining the purpose of this thread, 'cause otherwise it sounds like you're telling things people already know in terms of how Cloud got the sword >_<

That, and since I haven't played CC, you've spoiled a lot of the game plot for me! :gasp:

I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Cloud NEVER became a Soldier. When he was infused with the Jenova cells and in that mako tank for all those years before Zack finally awoke and broke them out, it was the Jenova cells and mako that made Cloud strong, not the sword. Cloud recovered from the mako addiction he'd suffered in the events of Crisis Core, but the Jenova cells played a part. They confused Cloud and led him to believe that he was Zack. That's why Cloud was telling everybody he was in Soldier. That and Cloud was ashamed of himself for not being able to make it in Soldier. So the Jenova cells reacted with Cloud's emotions and made him have a good portion of Zack's memories. They made him believe he was something that he wasn't.

I'm sorry but I'll reiterate; the sword had absolutely nothing to do with Cloud gaining strength. The sword was just a momento and something special passed down to him. He required the strength of a Solider to handle it, that's where the mako comes in.

But anyways, the likely hood of me getting CC is slim, unless I buy another PSP (sold my first one) so was pretty interesting to find out about how Cloud got teh sword.
 
I'm sorry but I really can't see the point in this summary. Basically you are just telling people who have played Crisis Core what they already know and spoiling it for the people who haven't played it yet.

But yeah anyway as Sayuri Said, it wasn't the sword that made Cloud strong.
 
I actually never planned on playing it and the guy I know that did play explained it as shitty as the topic starter, so it worked out well for me when Sayuri rephrased it.

(read your other thread too)You now,Cloud is supposed to be human,humans aren't all that great and perfect.It's not Superman we're talking about.Square-Enix wanted to make him more real.You couldn't expect Cloud to summon Buster Sword with powers and so on.If you are not satisfied with Cloud that's fine,but if you're trying to convince people to hate him then gtfo.There's no reason why such a thread exists.
