No matter how many times I make an introduction post, it nevers gets any easier, and I still feel bloody awkward...bah.
Anyways...hello! I am The Dark Messenger (TDM for short, if you prefer...most people do) and, for a limited time only, I shall be the newest member of this forum, mmmyes. I am 19, although you wouldn't believe it with the way I act sometimes, currently a University student - huzzah - and rather than give you an in-depth and egotistical view of my personality, I'll let you form your own opinions of me.
I have to say, I am quite impressed by the layout. There is a great deal here, which is part of the reason I decided to join...the other reason is, yeah...I was looking for somewhere to meet some like-minded people.
Since this is an FF forum, I suppose I'd better cover which FF games are my favourites...well, I'm primarily a fan of the Tactics series. As soon as I played FF Tactics Advance for the first time, I went crazy for that genre of game, leading me to Disgaea, Fire Emblem, Luminous Arc, etc. Although oddly I can't stand Advance Wars. I need swords and magic in my games, I suppose. Although I do quite like the DS remakes of III and IV as well - I'm more of a handheld gamer than anything else - and FFVIII, being the first FF I played for longer than five minutes (I got to do the opening few minutes of FFVII when it first came out) remains a favourite of mine. Although this is probably going to make me somewhat unpopular, I'll say it now - I DETEST FFVII, and I'm not particularly fond of FFIX either. Although I did quite enjoy FFXII, even if the storyline was always fluctuating between in-depth and absolutely nonexistent. I like Gabranth, and the whole Shakespearian feeling its got going.
Anyways, I look forward to getting to know some of you better, infuriating the rest of you, and I expect a good 50% of the forum I won't have anything to do with. Such is life. XD;
