Welcome to the forums! 
Final Fantasy X is my personal favourite too, followed closely (and I mean VERY closely; I tend to say they draw) by FFVIII and FFXIII-2. If you play XIII first, don't let it put you off XIII-2, which is a lot better than XIII, both in terms of story and gameplay!
FFII, IV, VI, VII, IX and XII are also rather super!
I haven't played much of I, III or V. 
What are your top 5 games?
