Hey there

Howdy howdy :)

Welcome to the forum, I happen to think we're a cool bunch 👀

We all tend to have different opinions on the series, which makes for interesting conversation. What are some of your FF favourites? Have you been playing the recent Final Fantasy VII Remake?

Look forward to seeing you around the place :)

Your avatar made me laugh. That's a very clever use of the meme. :lew:

Welcome to the forum, Safer Sephiroth! :argor:

I hope you find this place to your liking. We are very chill here and always open to discussing anything, so feel free to make this place your home.

I can tell that you are a fan of FFVII. Have you played the remake yet?

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I like all of the FF games but if I were to pick a few then they'd be VII (and Remake), XIV, IX, IV, I.
I really had a hard time picking even those out of all of the games so it may not be 100% all of my favorites.

I'm on Chapter 15 of Remake and loving it so far. I've been taking my time to explore the game thoroughly. :-)

Hey, welcome! :D It's hard to pick a favorite, I know! Just because one is your favorite doesn't make some of the others any less!

Anyway, hope you stick around and contribute your own thoughts to some of the threads around here! It's great seeing some new faces!

Those are all excellent choices for your favourites. :) Not many people would include FFI in their favourites, but I do love the game and its soundtrack.

I'm glad you are enjoying the Remake. You're a chapter ahead of me. I'm also taking my time. About 54 hours already and I'm on chapter 14. I have spent some of that time walking about aimlessly soaking up the atmosphere. I see no joy in rushing through it.

Welcome Safer Sephiroth! FF1 really is a rare choice, but I remember loving playing through the PSP version a few years back. Shiny and speedy :lew:.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Plenty of sections to post in. Remember to take a few cookies from the table by the shoutbox.

Thanks again everyone for all the welcomes 😃

I was a fan of the remakes of FF1 more than the original version but I have beaten all the different variations of it over the years. My favorite was always the GBA version but the PSP version looked the best. I'm on Chapter 17 now in VII Remake and this game has made me love all of these characters over again. I'm a little over 40 hours in but I've been taking my time too and talked to everyone and did all the quests.

The only version I have played is the PSX version when it was shipped over here as Final Fantasy Origins along with FFII. It has the improved graphics but unfortunately none of the extra content (bosses and new dungeons) that the later handheld versions would add. Pity because I'm quite a big fan of Ultros and I believe they added him into it as an optional boss.
