The worst fears of The Company have come to pass - The Shanti Virus has been released and it has spread through the human population like wildfire costing the lives of the majority of those who have been infected. It has mutated, costing not only the lives of "advanced" humans but also the ordinary. The majority of the world's population have falsely blamed the advanced humans for all of this, demanding that they be contained so that such a thing may never happen ever again.

The Company has imprisoned every advanced human they could find, even betraying agents who've worked closely by their side for their cause such as Elle. They've been medicated to suppress their superhuman abilities and kept away from the rest of the world.

What happens next?

IC: Faith opened her eyes to find that the train had arrived in New York City. She didn't know whether to feel happy or sad, especially since she'd been running from The Company for the past nine months. Patricia had betrayed her all along and was planning to hand her into them when she had her abilities more under control. As the doors opened, Faith grabbed her bagpack and then stepped into the train station trying to get a read of any Company agents that could be here watching her. But the thoughts belonged to everyday people either worrying about work, their lives or even the world going on around them. At least I don't have to worry about The Company for once, she thought herself. She had nothing left to live for, except for running. She wouldn't let The Company win and get a hold of her. No way on earth.

She walked up the stairs to the surface and out of the train station. Did she even have a plan? Faith knew that it'd be hard to get used to being here. She didn't really have a lot of money right now. Heck, she had used most of her money to get a train from Los Angeles to New York. Before that, she had snuck on to a cruiser and remained hidden; it was something that she was very good at. She should have rightfully been in education still, but what choice did she have? Run, run, run. It was all that she could do. Ever since the Shanti Virus had been unleashed, advanced humans had been to blame. The Company was the ruling body, they were the government. Faith shoved that thought out of her mind and then hurried to get a taxi. "Where to?" asked the driver. "Anywhere," muttered Faith. "Take me to the Apple." And so, the taxi took her to the Apple. After paying the driver twenty dollars, she stepped out and went to sit on a bench.

New York had been different to what Faith had expected. She hadn't ever come to this part of the world before. Having living in England, Japan and Spain in her life, America certainly was full of surprises. She was going to try for a new life here just like she had in Japan and Spain. It was the only way to get through it. Faith carried on sitting on the bench alone wondering about what her dead parents would think right now if they saw her sitting there. Would they be happy that The Company hadn't caught her? Or would they tell her to face The Company head to head? But she lowered her head and a tear trickled down her cheek. For Faith, the end of the world was already here.

"Get outta 'ere ya mange beast! Git!" Screamed a sloppy old man, booting at a orange and black furred pup as it grasped a string sausages between its teeth and fled the scene. He threw his shoe at it before realizing that the pup had looked back menacingly and threw the sausages over its shoulder, sprinting towards the shoe and gripping it with its teeth. The hotdog stand owner screamed and ran as fast as his chubby legs could take him, but it was too late. The pup had ran around the corner and into the hordes of people. The pup saw the owner throw his hat to the floor and quickly pick it up again, probably in fear that the pup would re-appear and steal that too. The pup snickered under its breath and carried on strutting through the crowd, dropping the shoe and beginning to munch on a sausage that was hanging over her shoulder.

A young child stopped, leaving go of his mothers hand to run her fingers through its fur, giggling. The pups tail wagged from side to side and she leaned into the touch, throwing her paws up onto the child. It giggled more and stroked the pups ears affectionately until the child's mother pulled him away and warned him to stay away from the pup because it most likely carried germs. The pup snorted, she did NOT have any germs, she was clean and furthermore flea ridden! She turned her back on the mother and carried on gnawing at the remainder of the sausage before turning a corner into an alley way. She turned into a small coop just behind a row of stores and without further adieu the pup slowly started to transform.

Her small bones grew larger and with each snap of a bone brought pain, but she had grown use to it. The orange fur started to tare away and was replaced by skin and finally clothing. The pup became a teen of fifteen years old named Aisha Lopez. She had been living on the streets of New York for around a year now, ever since she lost her parents to the company that was also out for her and her unique powers. You see, this child was not normally, she had powers beyond human belief and it was just this that this so called 'company' did not like about her or her parents. For the entire year she had told herself that her parents were dead because she did not wish to think of them in some other worse position, but she always wondered where she would see them again...whether she would feel the love and warmth of her family.

But she dared not think of it or else she would cry. Instead she hoisted herself onto a trash can and bit into the sausage. She didn't want to think of what would happen to her or anyone else, she just wanted to get on with her life, even if it was living as mostly a pup, stealing food. It was more of a life than what she would have in an orphanage and she was too young to get a proper job and besides...she kinda likes living on the wild side.

His office was a cuttered mess. The blinds were closed so no one could look inside to see what exactly he did. On his desk lay the pictures of over a dozen people. These pictures came from what he likes to call "The Suresh Files." This was how he was able to find so many of them before the Company. The pictures on his desk now were the people had not gotten to yet. They have found ways to elude the Company on their own, but they were still in danger. It would only be a matter of time before they were captured.

The phone began to ring. No one came to answer. It rang for a good ten minutes before the message machine turned on. It was a female's voice that spoke out. She sounded urgent.

"Ben! Ben! Please answer! I've found another one. Please pick-"

Ben came rushing into the room when he heard her. He fell over a chair as he picked up the phone. As soon as he recovered he put the phone to his ear.

"This is Ben... Yeah I'm alright. I just tripped over the chair... I will do. So which one is it?... Okay, I understand. Thanks for the help. Bye."

Ben hung up the phone and looked down at his desk. His eyes lay on a single photo. He picked it up and placed into his pocket. Two seconds later he was outside.

OOC: We can make NPC's right? For example like "evil" Advanced Humans or Random Company Agents? If not, I'll edit this but otherwise, I've introduced one here that's going to be very important to my character.

IC:
Eric was simply taking one of his normal, everyday strolls when his time here in New York began to get a whole lot harder.
Walking through the expanse of Central Park, he looked around as Squirrels were chittering in the trees, birds flew overhead singing to each other and other people began walking around with their dogs and children.
All in all, it was a quiet day. Right now.
"Damn, sometimes I really wish that was me." Eric muttered to himself as he leant against a tree and looked out over to one of the big clearings. A small family, a father, mother and two small children were running around playing some form of tag while the family dogs leapt and bound around them.

"Pity." Eric mused, as he stood back straight and turned to walk away.
As he walked back towards one of the exits to the Park, he noticed that the area he was walking in had none of the things he had noticed earlier.
No birds, no squirrels, no people in fact... this area for some unknown reason had no living organism (besides plants) at all...
"Hello?" Eric called out in a tentative voice, the echo sounding hollow to his own ears.
"He~llooo?" He called again, louder and stronger and this time, he thought he heard a chuckle as he kept walking.
"This isn't fuu~nny!" He called, walking slightly faster now and beginning to look around wildly. Eventually, he began to break into a jog then a slow run, until finally, he was pounding his way down the path.
For perhaps ten minutes he ran wildly, his own power unconsciously built up inside of him and prepared to unleash it upon the slightest threat.
Then, he noticed something.

He hadn't moved.

Looking around, the spot he was standing in looked exactly like the spot he had been in when he first noticed the strangeness.
In fact, he had no memory of moving from this spot.
Something was wrong.
"That's it!" he cried, inside him, his body began to shift, moving to the beginning of his smoke-form, "if this doesn't stop soon, I will start going INSANE!"
This time, the chuckle he heard was quite audible, and Eric spun around.
Standing not ten metres from him was an unshaven, dark-haired man with a wild look in his eyes. His black clothes looked stained even from this distance, and the gun he carried in his left hand was rusty, but still, in this place, scary.

"You can't escape," the man rasped, "you stepped into my trap and now you're here until I let you out."
"Who are you?" Eric asked much more calmly than he felt. This man obviously had powers, not like himself but still powers.
"You can call me..." the man broke off and stared into space for a second, musing, before a wicked grin split his face, "Kevin."
Suddenly, the world shattered, and Eric found himself lying on his back on the ground with Kevin standing over him.
For some reason, the birds overhead sounded strange and the people walking past kept giving Kevin, he thought it was Kevin, odd looks.
"I'm hunting you Eric," Kevin rasped softly, leaning in and winking, "you can't hide and next time, I'll capture you properly, for my employers wish for your presence."
With that, Kevin turned and ran, laughing maniacally as he went.

Eric stumbled to his feet and left at a shambling run, running through eight blocks until he finally made it to his apartment. Stumbling inside, he fell down on the floor next to his door and lay there, wondering over and over the same three things.
Who was Kevin?
Who were his employers who wanted him?
and Were there other people in this world with powers?

After sitting and wondering what she could do next, Faith rose to her feet, wiped away the tears streaming down her face and then began to walk down the streets not really caring about the people that shoved past her. But then after a few minutes, it was starting to irritate her. She felt angry, but whenever she would get angry, her powers would often spiral out of control. Eventually, Faith came across a five-star hotel. She glanced down at the money that she had, which was only three hundred dollars. It was one hundred and fifty dollars per night. When she put started closing up her purse, something slipped out. She bent down and picked up whatever it was that she dropped, but shock hit her when she saw exactly what it was.

It was a credit card with the owner being called Mrs Catherine Crest. Faith's eyes widened and looked around to make sure that no one was watching her. Had this possibly belonged to her mother, who had been killed so many years ago? She could care less HOW it had gotten in there, it was the fact that it WAS there. She walked into the hotel with her bagpack and then walked right up to the reception. "May I help you?" asked the manager in a French accent, who glared coldly at her since she looked like she'd been living rough like a homeless person. "Hi, I'd like to book a room, but I was also wondering if you could see how much money I have on my credit card, please?" said Faith, handing over the credit card. The manager continued to glare coldly at her, but then his expression changed when he saw who the card belonged to. "My, this belonged to Catherine Crest," he said as if he'd just seen a ghost. He kept on looking at Faith and then down to the credit card. "I knew her personally. She was a good friend of mine."

"I know you're freaked out right now, but I'm her daughter," said Faith, sighing. But it seemed that the manager had already acknowledged that. "Ah yes, I could recognise those eyes from anywhere," he said, bowing his head. "I am Boswell Askwell, a dear friend of your late mother. The last time I recall seeing her was shortly after you were born. Alas, my dear, your eyes. I know when I see a child that I have seen before when they stand before me. Please ..." He stepped out of the reception desk and told someone to resume his duties. "... follow me. There is much we need to discuss." Faith felt confused, but then she remembered Patricia mentioning a Boswell Askwell. She followed him eagerly towards the lift. "I guess that we do have much to discuss," muttered Faith to him, as the lift doors closed.

"Hey Sean what up!" Someone shouted. "Oh, hey Chris." replied Sean. "What's wrong with you?! I've been shouting you for ages." "Sorry... I was thinking." Sean answered. "Well think a little less would you were late!" Sean lifted his eyebrow. "(sigh)Don't tell me you forgot." Sean tried to remember what Chris was talking about, but to no avail. "I forgot." he replied. " God... I knew you would forget. (sigh) Right, were going to met everyone at the train station to go to Edinburgh for the day." Chris told him with frustration in his voice. Sean nodded and they were off.

Sean and Chris have been friends since they were both little. Chris has always been the talkative one and Sean has been somewhat quite a lot of the time. Though their qualities make up for what the other lacks.

<Ring Ring> Sean picked up his mobile phone and answered it. "Hello?" "Sean Hanrahan?" The stranger asked. "Yes?"Sean replied. "This is the police. We need to speak to you about your parents. Come to your house immediately."

OOC: Faith, I'm tying in to your post if thats cool. If not, just say so and I'll edit away.

Eric had a place to be now.
After that encounter with "Kevin" in the park, he had been constantly on the lookout for anyone else showing signs of attacking him, and he had been constantly empowered with sound-blasts as he had walked around the city, but by the time he had returned home, he found something unexpected.

"Why the hell would I get an email from Boswell?" he wondered, as he walked down the street towards the hotel where he occaisionally worked.
"I haven't been scheduled on for ages..."
As he entered the hotel, he flashed his pass and asked what Boswell was doing to the girl at the counter, Maddie, someone he used to have a crush on. Before he had found out she was secretly into some weird stuff. She had a crush on him though, to Eric's dismay.

"Hey Er," she drawled, looking up and smiling, "he just took some scruffy-looking girl towards the lifts, lift 2, don't know why. They said some such about her mother or whatever. Want to have dinner tonight?"
She broke off suddenly and scarily and Eric simply shook his head, slightly afraid.
"No thanks Maddie," he said poilitely, looking towards Boswell's office door, "do you know where he went? He emailed me, said it's urgent."
"Nope, just go up after him." Maddie said, shrugging it off and returning to her online game of 500.
"8 Hearts call." Eric said in passing as he went to the lift 2 door and looked up.
The lift was still moving upwards, apparently he had been only a minute or so too late, but he watched as it moved up, wondering where it would come to a stop.

OOC: That's fine, Marilith. A little character interaction would be needed at one point, anyway.

IC: Leaving the lift doors on the twenty-third floor, Faith followed Boswell into a large hotel room that was fit for any A-list celebrity. "Your mother's favourite room," said Boswell, as if he had read Faith's mind, which he hadn't obviously. "She took a liking to New York and always came to this hotel when she was on business." Faith looked at him confused. On business? What did he mean by that? "Ah, so then you weren't told?" asked Boswell, crossing his arms after shutting the door behind them. "Your mother owned her own company over seventeen years ago. As a matter of fact, it was your father's. After they met, they joined together to run it. It was a toy company, I believe, but I think it could have been used for much more than that. I believe your parents had more potential than creating toys fit for children."

I can't really say anything, thought Faith. She had already read his thoughts; he wasn't with The Company and he did seem to know her mother.I never knew Mum or Dad. Patricia refused to tell me anything, so Boswell is my only chance. She eyed him closely. "So how close would you say that you were to my parents?" Boswell looked at her suspicious. "Please don't take it the wrong way, sir. I ... my godmother never talked about my parents. She forbid me to even mention their names. And then when I found out something really terrible, I made a run for it ..." Boswell nodded, but knew she couldn't carry on talking. "You must be exhausted," he said. "I've heard about your little travels along the world, Faith. Spain, Japan ... it must be breathtaking. But there's also something else." He whispered in her ear. "I know what you can do, Faith. Your mother was the same as was your father."

Eric watched as the lift hit floor 23 (^_^) and walked into the second one and followed it up.
Reaching the twenty-third floor, he walked around aimlessly for a second, before asking one of the maids who directed him to the Crest Memorial Room.
"Thanks," Eric said, winking and walking into the entrance of the large, celebrity-like room.
"Hey Bos, what's the haps?" Asked Eric, mainting a facade of cheerfullness...

Aisha sighed, looking up at the dank roof. Her eyes saddened as she thought about what a pathetic life she had really. To think, she could have been born normal without any hassle from this so called company, could still be living with her parents and looking forward to going to college in about a years time or something. It was a sad thought to think that such a bright and intelligent girl had been reduced to living on the streets, but what could she do? She couldn't go and work because she was underage and who would take on a mutt anyways? There was no way she was getting adopted by anyone that wasn't her real parents, though she did suppose she could go to school somewhere and continue where she left off.

She hummed, wondering if she could pull it off, but then there was the fact that she would be out in the open to this company, and if she did get caught it would mean her parent’s lives had been wasted. Licking her fingers of the remainder of the sausage that she had stolen, she pushed herself off of the trashcan and grabbed her scuffed back pack. It was time she did something with her life and leave this place. Though she did need some money first, she couldn't go to school dressed in the same clothes all the time and it had been a while since she had had a proper shower. In fact the only bathing she had done was in the river in her pup form and that really couldn't be considered as having a proper wash.

She left her little dumpster home and grimaced as the light touched her face. She turned to her left and for once, left the comfort of the samll hole in the wall as a human, not a pup. She greeted the people, who passed her with a warm smile that wasn't returned, but she didn't expect any more from them, after all, she was a tramp really speaking. But she didn't care; this day was going to be a new start for her!

She walked for a while, she was going to have to take some money from somewhere, but she couldn't rely on passersby because they may be carrying nothing...and she could easily get caught. A bank was also out of the question because there was high security there. So what...? As she thought this, she passed a hotel and immediately thought it to be the perfect candidate. Hotels didn't have the best security...they had camera's, but she could take care of that easily. They had money from guests and a hotel such as this was bound to have a restaurant. It was something small to start out on she supposed.

Grinning, she hoisted her back pack onto her shoulder and entered the building. It wasn't bad, she was greeted...not really as welcoming as it should have been, but then she did take into account the fact that she smelt and looked awful. She approached the desk and smiled pleasantly up at the desk man and asked innocently. "Excuse me sir...but have you seen my mommy? She's tall with brown hair and green eyes. I was split up from her about three days ago." She started to make herself cry and she wiped fake tears away with her arm. "I...I know we stayed in this hotel for a few days because my dad was looking for us and...and then she was gone...I don't know if Daddy got her or not and I'm scared!" She let the actress in her break loose and she broke down in tears on the spot. "Please help me, sir!"

Almost immediately, she man circled the counter and put an arm around her. "Shh, shh, it’s okay now. What's your mommy's name?" he asked, patting her on the back comfortingly.
"Her n-name is Maggie, sir." She answered.
"Okay, okay. Now do you want to wait here when I try and find your mommy for you?" He asked.
Ka-ching! Aisha nodded her head slowly. "Yes please, sir" She sobbed.

As David neared the streets of London he pondered to himself, "What was he destined for? Surely there must be some bigger picture hidden within these veils of secrecy. Who were those men in black coats? What did they want with him? Was it his powers, were there more like him nearby?" All of these questions would remain unanswered, for he himself could not answer them, yet. As his journey took him into London, he searched the dark streets, hoping somebody was nearby that could point him in the right direction. As he turned one corner, and then another a Black car, or at least it looked black in the darkness, drove over towards him. The driver opened his window slightly exposing his silhouette. His features remained hidden in the darkness, as David tried to get a better view of the man by leaning slightly at an angle above the window the man spoke, sending David back into his standing position.

"Get in the car." The man ordered.
David didn't need to think twice, he backed away a few steps and replied, "What makes you think I'd do that? Heck I don't even know you."
"But I know you, lets just say... We have a history." The man said, trying to persuade David to get in his car.
"Wait a sec, what does that mean?" David asked, taken aback slightly by his response.
"It means..." The man started, he wasn't able to finish his sentence however as the black vans that were pursuing him before had returned and were closing in on David.
"Get in the car! No time to explain!" The man shouted.
David, without thinking and acting on pure survival opened the back door and jumped into the car and quickly slammed it as the man sped off in his car.

"Where are we going?" David asked.
"To a safe place" the man replied, obviously hiding its location for a specific reason. David began to wonder again, this time with new questions to add to his list of questions that required answers. Shortly after the man had slowed down, clearly the pursuers had given up the chase David fell asleep, when he awoke he was laying in a white bed in a large room which held 6 beds including his own. Perhaps this was the 'safe place' the man was referring to? As he arose from his bed and stood up he noticed he was still in his clothes, as he began to walk towards the door it slid open, revealing two people, a girl and a boy, they seemed to be near his age. The boy was dark skinned and wore dark brown dreadlocks, he work red shorts and a white and yellow sleeveless jacket. He also wore white trainers and black shades. The girl however was caucasian and had light brown hair, she wore black jeans and a white shirt which was covered by a red jacket which covered all of her arms. She also wore white trainers, only hers looked slightly tattered and worn. As they both ran past him and walked over to their beds, the boy's one was opposite his and the girl's was in the far left corner. David walked out of the room without saying a word and began to look around.

As he walked through the endless corridoors, each one ending with a turn and another corridoor he saw the numerous room numbers which numbered from 2 to 90, if what David thought was true this was a place for children with powers, a resistance perhaps? After David had returned to his room, number 54 he entered it and laid on his bed, the boy and girl were now gone. David soon fell asleep again, wondering what would happen next.

"Sean, wait who was that! SEAN WAIT UP!!!".
Sean was running as fast as he could, he couldn't think, he just kept running and running, he had to get home, what had happened? He had to know.
"Hey, Hey what hap........." Sean was left speechless, shocked and disoriented. His home was in ruins all that was left was rubble nothing else nothing more. "Hey Sean wha......" Chris just arrived, he had just seen the destruction that had happened. "No...no...no...it can't be happening, its not happening...no..no" Sean just sat and stared into space, he didn't want to face the truth. None of this was real all a bad dream he kept telling himself. "Sean...you ok?" Chris asked with saddened tone. "......" Sean didn't want to talk, he couldn't.
"Sean Hanrahan?" someone asked. "Hmm." It was a Police officer, probably the one who phoned him. "I called you early. I'm Officer Murphy....Sean...I'm sorry to say but your family seems to have been killed in the fire, I'm sorry we couldn't do anything to save them..." Sean kept staring. "Their is something you should know about how they died...."

Faith was about to ask the origins of her parents when she saw a guy walk in talking to Boswell as if he knew him quite well. "I tell you so many times not to tell me Bos!" sighed Boswell, shaking his head. "But you youngsters just do not appreciate the old ways nowadays ... Eric, I'd like you to meet my last relative in the family, Faith Crest. She's my goddaughter and I was wondering if you could spend some time with her and make her feel welcome in the city." Faith just glared coldly at Boswell for being interrupted. The next time you want to speak, I'll interrupt, she projected her thoughts to his mind. She turned to Eric, however, felt somewhat shaken up by seeing the X scar on the bridge of his nose. However, she tried not to let this get to her.

"And this is Eric, Faith," Boswell continued to say, making a mental note to lecture her about being so obnoxious. "Eric's just like you and he's going to be showing you the ropes of New York City. Consider him ... a guide for now." But it seemed that Faith couldn't get used to the idea of things happening so fast. Not only did she have to deal with the fact that she was accidentally displaying her powers of telepathy and telekinesis, but also she was being hunted down by the Company. If that wasn't bad enough, her own FAKE godmother was in it leading the hunt for her. But thinking about it all, perhaps she thought she was safe here for now. With a warning look from Boswell, Faith flashed a smile. "Hi there," she said to Eric, giving him a chance.

As soon as he had caught sight of the girl, Faith, Eric's facade of cheerfulness disappeared, replaced with a cautionary look. When Boswell said that he was like her, the caution disappeared to be replaced with curiosity. And when Boswell added that he would take her around New York, curiosity had been replaced by confusion.
"Uh Bos," he had started to say, slightly over the manager, "I do-"
"Hi there," Faith had quickly interjected and Eric turned his focus on her.

"Hey," he said, nodding to her, "nice to meet you."
He glared at Boswell for a moment before returning to Faith.
"Bos said I'm like you," he said, musingly, "how does he mean? In fact," he rounded on Boswell, "how do you know I've got powers?"
Turning back quickly, he added, "what kind of stuff can you do Faith? I doubt its like me..."

OOC: I just want to point one thing out, Marilith. His name is Boswell, not Bosley. Wanted to clarify that.

IC: "I've known for quite a long time," said Boswell, crossing his arms. "Let's just say that I have my connections around the city keeping an eye out for special people and making sure they don't get hurt. It's exactly why I didn't want you to get hurt, Eric." He turned towards Faith, who was also now eyeing him suspiciously. "You know why I know you have powers, Faith. Your parents were close friends to me, it was their dying wish that I kept you away from that dreadful Company." Faith saw Eric nod towards her and smiled a little. "You're the first one that I've known about having these abilities," she said in a hushed voice. She had been like this for the past nine months with avoiding capture by Noah Bennet and Patricia Musso.

Noah and Patricia were Company agents. Whilst Noah was mysterious and she didn't know much about him at all, Faith had once thought Patricia was her real godmother when it was a lie. Through reading Boswell's mind for the past few minutes, she had come to the conclusion that he wasn't working for the Company and that he was her only real godparent as well. Then she heard Eric's question and turned to him. "Me?" she asked. "It's nothing special really." That's because I consider it a curse. Ignoring her thoughts, she continued to speak. "I can read minds and move stuff with my mind." Despite feeling a little bit tempted to read Eric's mind, she didn't. "You haven't have happened to have ever heard of some organisation called the Company, have you?"

When the owner was trying to look for her mother on the system. Aisha managed to sneak off in search of the restaurant area in order to see what she could get her hands on, even if it was just tips off the tables meant for the service. She used her sixth sense to listen out for any possible obstacles, this was when she sense it. A powerful presence. Aisha sniffed at the air fiercely trying to locate the person's in which this aura was emitting. She followed it into the elevator and pressed for the fourteenth floor. It binged and the doors closed. It lifted Aisha to her destination and she sniffed the air again. She still needed to go up a few more floors. Pressing for the 25th floor the doors closed again.

What was this smell going to lead her to? It could be the company! In which case, she was leading herself to certain doom. But she had to at least catch a glimpse of who was emitting this aura. Reaching the 25th floor, she realized that she had gone to far. A man stood at the doors and entered, pressing for the 23rd floor. Aisha grinned at him and bowed her head. "Thats the floor I was going to press!" She said happily. The man just stared at her before clearing his throat and staring in front of him. Aisha huffed and poked her tongue out at him.

The elevator hit the 23rd floor and both of them walked out. Aisha sniffed the air again and followed the scent around to a large room. The man decided that enough was enough and started to walk as fast as he could in the opposite direction of her. Aisha pressed her back up against the wall and listened in on the conversation going on on the other side of the wall. She chanced a glimpse around the corner and saw that the aura was coming from not one person, but two.

"They have powers like me!" She whispered to herself excitedly.

When David awoke from his slumber his room was far darker, possibly because it was nighttime. However, nobody else was sleeping in here, cauciously walking out of his room he stuck to the shadows, wary of whatever could be happening. As he encountered some stairs that led up to a higher floor David had not seen before, as he ascended the countless stairs mist began to appear at his feet, as David climbed to the top he saw a few men standing with their backs turned to David, blocking the doorway. David looked for an opening through them and saw none, as he searched the small semicircular space for a ventilation shaft or some other way in, on his left he eyed a small hole in the wall, it seemed to be the source of the mist. The hole was barely large enough for David to fit through, as he crawled in he reduced himself to crawling on his knees, He durned through the tunnel, once to the left and further up he took another left. He then re-emerged from the tunnel in a circular room, the entire wall area was draped in fine silky red curtains with golden edges. Before him was a man with short black hair and wore a dark blue suit and black shoes, that was all he could gather from his back. As David was about to speak a loud banging could be heard on the door, and angry voices could be heard from the other side.

The man slowly turned around, apparently he must have known of David's presence, The man had a rough face and a shaven beard, his hair was scruffy at the front and mainly hung to the sides, he wore metal knuckles and had a few scratches along his suit, strapped to his right foot was a small handgun, knowing nothing about firearms he didn't bother trying to decipher anything about it. The man was the first to speak, he extended his hand to try and recieve a handshake, David shook it, half confused, half worried. The man then spoke.

"Hey there kid, name's Mark Bryce, I was sent here to get you, it's time I brought you to HQ. Follow me." The man said, before taking David's arm and walking him towards an open window.
"Wait a second, before you take me anywhere I want to know, what is this 'HQ' your talking about, what does it do?" David questions in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Well... The thing is..." The man began, he was cut off short though when a helicopter rose above the window, it had a strange red symbol of the earth with a bright yellow ring around it, Mark dragged David in the helicopter just as the door was broken through.
"Adios suckers!" Mark shouted to the men below as the helicopter rose and sped off.

OOC: Edited, thanks Faith

Eric thought for a moment about what Faith had just said.
"Not until recently," he admitted, looking around the room carefully then altering the pitch of his voice so it only carried to the ears of Boswell and Faith, one of his kinetic tricks, "but recently, I got attacked by a man named Kevin."
He looked at Boswell and grimaced, "it hurt a lot. He had some kind of mind power, which now I think about it, would probably relate to your powers Faith. Actually," he broke off on a random tangent, "Faith is too formal, I'm gonna call you Fay."
Turning back to her, he looked downwards for a moment before looking back up and staring her in the eyes.
"He had a piece of paper in his coat pocket," he said even quieter, making the others lean in to hear, "that had the word "Company" in large letters on the top. A letter or something. Not a smart idea having that on that letter, but I didn't notice it until I remembered just now."
"Why do you want to know about them," he asked, curious once more, "are they important? The man said his employer's were hunting me-"
He broke off, as he had just picked up a sound from close by. Holding up a hand, he walked over to the door, opening it and sticking his head out, looking down at the girl pressed against the wall.
"Well," he said nicely, smiling sweetly, "come in."

Sean looked at officer Murphy with a confused look. How else could they have died, my house has burned down, they died in the fire...didn't they ? "What do you mean ?" Sean questioned. "Well...they didn't die in the fire."
"Then how did they die ?" Sean asked persistenly. Officer Murphy's looked at Sean with a saddened look in his eye. "They were murdered...I'm sorry..." Sean's eyes widened, he couldn't move, he couldn't talk. After a while to take the information Sean burst into an outrage, his family were murdered, who would do this, if he found out he would go after them and get them for what they have done. "Sorry...SORRY!!! My family was murdered and all you can say is SORRY!!!" "Look kid just calm down were trying to figure who it was, so stay calm."

Sean left the remains of his home, he had no where to go, but he had a goal, to find his parents killer and do far worse to them. "Sean wait where are you going ?" Chris asked. "To find the person responsible for this." Sean said with anger in his speech."WHAT ! He or she is a muderer, you'll get yourself killed !" Chris shouted. "Heh...I might not though as I can do this." Sean picked up a shard of glass and sliced it across his arm. "SEAN !!! Why did you do that !!!" Chris shouted. "Watch" Sean said bluntly. The cut Sean made on his arm healed up leaving no trace that there was a cut."Woah...how did...you do that?" Chris said with amasement in his voice. "I don't know, I just can."

"So Sean where are you going to look first ?" Chris asked. Sean did not know where he was going only that he had to find his parents killer. "I don't know." Sean started to head south towards York. This is were his journey has started.

Aisha saw the boy come towards her from in the room. She stiffened and drew back around the corner, pressing herself as tightly as she could against the wall, hoping that he was just going somewhere else and that he would completely ignore her or miss her. But there was no such luck. He poked his head around the corner and stared Aisha straight in the eye, he smiled and beckoned her in. "Your...your not with the company are you?" She asked, scared that if he was she would be taken away and meet the same fate as her parents. A tear weld up in the corners of her eyes and she sobbed. "Please don't be. I dont want to die...I don't want to go the same way my parents did. Please don't be..." She was only young and with being more of a cub than a human child, Aisha acted on instinct more than anything else and her first thought was to worry that this guy was with the company. She knew she shouldn't have gone wandering!

She steped into the room none the less, hoping that by complying with his request they would spare her a slow death and just get it over quickly. She drew a hand over her eyes and wiped the tears away before concentrating on the other occupents of the room. There were a few people, one of them being the firl which Aisha had noted the scent of power coming off of.

Aisha tilted her head and looked at her and then to the boy. "You-you have powers like me don't you?" She asked. With this she made a bird appear in her hand and watched as it flew away before turning into nothing yet again. "I-I can't control it properly yet, but I'm getting there. But please, I'm not worth it. My powers aren't really good yet, so I'm just not worth it." The tears started again. "Please don't kill me!"
