I am busy with my graduate degree at the University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa. For this, I am conducting a study on customization and its influence on video game play experiences in a J-RPG. I specifically focus on Final Fantasy XIII and Kingdom Hearts II, but feel free to answer the non-FF/KoH parts.

are u doing a degree in like rpg's.. or game design.. cuz i'm currently doing game design at the university of essex, UK ^.^

Oh cool! Does it entail both the programming and graphic design of it? Or more the thought-process begin designing a game?

I am doing a graduate degree in Multimedia, which is a jack-of-all-trades. We have a module that focus on game designing, but it is not the overall focus of the degree. The module this questionnaire is being used for is HCI – Human Computer Interaction (“Discipline concerned with the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use and with the study of major phenomena surrounding them.” - http://old.sigchi.org/cdg/cdg2.html#2_1). And me being Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts obsessed, decided to focus on J-RPGs as my area of focus and customization as my HCI element.
