Coldrun
Chocobo Breeder
Hi all!
While growing up, I had two main experiences with Final Fantasy. I had an NES as a kid and played FFI briefly, but didn't get past Garland. I didn't know how to equip items, or how experience worked, so I just started the game, ran to the Temple, ran from every fight and got stomped by Garland before I gave up.
Yeah. I wasn't the smartest kid.
When SNES came out, I'd watch my brother play Final Fantasy "2" (FFIV) all the time. It was a blast, and when I played it I loved it as well. That was about it.
A few months ago, I got a hankering to take on a gaming project of some kind, and so I decided to play all the main Final Fantasy games in order. Not an uncommon project on a site like this. Outside of FFIV's base game and the gist of the FFI plot, I am totally unspoiled (and trying to remain that way).
Because of that, I'll only gradually enter forums, and even then will take care to remain blind/unspoiled, but wanted to introduce myself anyway as I start to lurk about. I completed GBA FFI, GBA FFII along with SoR, DS FFIII, PSP FFIV's base game and interlude. I'm currently finishing up "The After Years."
If you have any interest in reading my experiences and notes as I play through the series, they're available on coldrungaming.blogspot.com. I update that site every Sunday with that week's posts.
See y'all around!
