I have recently gotten into this anime. Even though most of the episodes are fairly simular, I find it to be very addictive. They do an awesome job making you absolutely hate the tormentor and feel very sorry for the victim.

Its strange, before watching this anime, I thought the idea of hell was cruels. But after seeing some of these people in this show, it's quite satisfying to see them sent to hell.

The deal is quite harsh too and I don't think taking revenge that way is worth it. If you use Hell Girl to send someone to hell, you also have to go to hell when you die D: I can't imagine going through with it.

Anyone else like this series?

omg!!! I thought I was the only one here who knew about this awesome anime!!! I loved Hell girl so much! The way a plot slowly worked its way into the show really impressed me. I kinda feel sorry for the people who choose revenge though...my fav episode was hell girl vs hell boy :x3:

Man, I love this anime! :D
Hell boy vs. Hell girl was awesome. Kinda sucks for the old man though (the guy who pulled the string). My favorite episode's "Through the looking glass". I felt the creeps in this episode even though it's only anime xD

I loved this anime, its deeper than hell..shit that was my slogan at the time,..Hell Girl Deeper than Hell :P slogan and sig xD

anyways I stopped midway season 2. unfortunately..its was too repetitive, however each ep and each case was really different and seperate issues and cases so I gotta have respect for the writers of this original anime..

They made me really think and grasp about certain subjects.. like I said its deep..deeper than Hell. :mokken:

Also I had a virtual crush on Hone Onna..kinda, I mean look at her :giggle:
but yeah you dont wanna see her real self.....

Hone Onna :griin:

I watched all of this a while back...I didn't go much on the first season, but I kept watching it anyway because it intrigued me, and the soundtrack was awesome. I really enjoyed the second season, though. It was great to get some backstory to Ai's assistants, and it just felt more structured than the first season did...it was quite shocking at points, as well. Kikuri was both amusing and creepy, as well.

The third season, though, I really did not like. I didn't like or see the point to the new main characters, and the story was lacklustre...it was better when it was less focused, odd as it sounds.

It went from being totally random in the first season to being too focused in the third. The second series was a nice midpoint with the more interesting and grisly stories...and the best OP, as well.
