Have you mistaken Zidane for a girl?

There was only one time when I thought that Zidane was a girl, and that was when I saw a cardboard advertisement for the game in our local Toys'R'Us. I was still bound and determined that I wasn't going to get a Playstation at the time, and I thought "Damn, that's either one ugly girl, or some really deformed guy!" or something like that.

As for Freya...uhh...not to sound condescending or anything, but...her default name is Freya!
I suppose I preserved my judgement until then. I really can't say that I thought either way when I first saw her.
However, I did seem to think, before I actually met him, that when Freya was asking herself where "Sir Fratley" was, I though she was referring to Zidane.

Freya is a....a rat, right? Naturally, they all (her race) looked the same to me.
 
While playing the game I cannot fathom how you can go through it and STILL think Zidane is a girl after all the references to HIM as a "He". They say he, him, and his, 400 times in the game. I think I realized Zidane was a male from his very first appearance in the game; it's not that hard to decipher.
 
I did think that he was a girl at first when I saw his pic in the menu, but then it's just so obvious, doh, the main character is like, never a girl. But now that I think about it... Zidane would make a very appealing girl.xD More appealing than a certain pretty boy we all know.
 
Zidane's face seriously looks like a girl especially in CG. the first time I saw him I'd really thought he's a girl unless referred as 'he'. And Kuja definitely looks female the first time he's revealed in that FMV at Burmecia. plus their names sound feminine aren't they?

As for Freya I've always thought she's a girl.

I think feminine guys are hot.
But not overly feminine.
I just like clean fingernails and guys that wear clean clothes that haven't been stomped on for like 3 weeks.

No, I didn't think Zidane was a girl... but it took a lot of convincing for me to believe that Kuja was a guy. I remember my brother and his friends talking about how Kuja was such a hot chick, and then they found out he was a he... =D
 
Kuja is sooooo incredibly feminine. I don't think he's gay but he's definitely trying. Let's just say I'm not sure if he's a Will but he's definitely a Grace. And the g-string thing is bad... the purple is worse... but the fact that he walks around stroking his hair and quoting lines from plays just puts him in the "Wow, I bet this guy's either gay or British" category.
 
I kinda thought he looked a little girlish with the hair and all, but who I truly thought was girl, was Kuja. However, even though I thought Zidane looked a little feminine, I never mistook him for a girl.
 
I always knew he was a guy and didn't really ever question it. I don't know, I guess he was maybe a little feminine but I never really thought much of it.
