Have you ever won a Blitzball game?

Has anyone ever beaten the Luca Goers?
I could really use some advice...

Are you talking about the initial match against the Goers, the one in the finals or whatever? Or is it a later match that is not complusory?

Later on in the game, yes Ive beaten them. But as for the tournament early in the game, I never beat them unless I had the Jecht shot mark 3 (think thats the name).

thats advice for how to win the first game.

and after that all you have to do is level up the players and you should win with ease.

signing Wedge is also a help

Later on in the game is easier than the first match in the tourney. You can win the tourney though as long as you have the Jecht Shot and try to get all of your scoring with Tidus as soon as possible since you lose him when Wakka returns.

Nope, I've never won a game of Blitzball. Hell, I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I actually scored...

Since it's really only a mini-game--and you can progress win or lose--I haven't bothered to take the necessary steps to win.
