Playstation Has anyone played any of the Grandia

I played Grandia II on Dreamcast (it was actually the first and ONLY game I actually ever paid for on DC, HA!)...it was pretty cool, I remember...gotta love them disembodied evil boss battles! ^_^

I was waiting to fight the evil p3n0r though and it never happened...
 
Oh yeah, I played this. It was a good game, the battle system was unbelievable! But it got a little hard for me and I ended up quitting :(
 
i played Grandia's 3 and extreme and i got to say i love the battle system in it and the graphics aren't half bad either, the story line was incerdible and the character's were off the hook. but i think it was a little bit hard. Just because it was challenging for me. only cause i wasnt use to that klnd of rpg at the time i played it but as i played it more i grew to love it more and the way to control and choose the right time to attack. this battle system in this game series is pure genius.
 
grandia is relli good i got the first one on ps1 and its cool, the upgrade system is good and the story is cool, its relli addictive like the ff series, you cna spend hours on end playing the game, im not to fond of the 2nd grandia, but iv played and completed the 1st one loads of times, and now i have got my ps3 i looked in a cuboard and found the 1st grandia so im now playing it when i want to on my ps3
 
I played grandia 2 and 3. I liked 2 better because i thought the story was more involving and the characters were better made. Ryudo evolved into an excellent hero through the course of the game and started out perfect. I loved how Elena had to battle he inner demon. Grandia 3 was okay, but it was mostly the graohics that stood out to me, not the story. I was glad that the battle system wasnt changed too much from the previous game. Yuki did not have the "HERO" factor Ryudo had, but he was still good to battle with. The last boss battle was challenging in a good way, imo

i have completed the 1st grandia some time ago on PS1 i remember buying it from the market for £4 i still have i around somewhere

One of the best RPG's i have played it had loads of gameplay i lovesd the music from the game thought it went well with the game

What were all the characters called? i remember Justin Sue fenna rapp milda?
 
The only Grandia I ever played was Grandia II, and quite enjoyed it. I really liked the relationship between Ryudo and Skye xD Had its emotional moments as well.

I've been looking for Grandia 3 everywhere, but no luck. Thinking about just grabbing it off ebay though.
 
I own Grandia 1 and Grandia 2 and played part of the 3rd. I looove the 1st and 2nd, though! In the first one, there was an amazing amount of character development--more so than I've ever seen in a game--and in the second one, there was more sarcasm and serious themes mixed together. I loved them both!
 
Ive played all of them I think so far. Actually own 1,2,3, and extreme and most are nice plays. Really don't care for 1 and extreme mainly cause of how the travel is, I really like traveling on a world map to get to spots or going through places to get place to place. Not just this map select bull crap and your there. Haven't gotten to far into 1 yet and the only one I beaten has been 3. Funny enough 3 is my favorite it's also the first one I played. Forget where I am in 2 and extreme,
 
I have played 2 and 3 and a Little part of Extreme (Didn't like it to much).

I love Grandia series and wish they'd make another for PS3. It would be a nice addition to the lacking PS3 RPG's, IMO.

my personal favorite was Grandia II, the characters were bad ass and just the stroy was really well done for the Dreamcast and PS2. Graphics were done nicely as well. I LOVED the battle system as well. It was just an all around good RPG for me.
