Gundam SEED: Controller

"Thanks buddy." Marcus said to Stephen as he helped him up to base. Marcus knew he probably would not have made it without him. As he made it to base, he climbed out of the cockpit and the maintence man said to Galm. "Damn man, you know how much stuff I have to repair. Marcus responded, "yeah, yeah, I know. It's not like I didn't have fun doing it." "Well, Oracle will be out of action for the next 2 days, it should come up to 21000 credits." Galm said "Stephen said, he'll pay for damages." Before he left for his quarters. Lying on his bed, he can't help but think, Mirage and Kisaragi are at war, though this will lead to more missions for us, it will complicate things as to defend against the Controller's random attacks.

Stephen strode through the hangar bay after disembarking from the Freedom, 21000 Credits! he thought to himself as he payed the mechanic and looked at the Freedom, missing it's arm. . . again.

Stephen sighed as he knew that he would have to spend another night fixing it. he went to the messhall and got a flask of coffee and then headed back to the hangar to begin his all nighter. it was going to be a long one.

Marcus came out of his quarters, after thinking about the day's events, and walked his way to the hanger bay, he saw Stephen trying to fix his units arm. Galm felt bad, caused he had to put the guy through it. He figured he may as well return the favor and help him out in fixing the Strike Freedom. Marcus came down to the ground floor, picked up a wrench and said to Stephen, "Need any help, buddy?"

as Markus came down the stairs, Stephen looked at him, and watched him pick up a wrench, a smile creapt onto his face. Stephen placed the tool he was holding down and patted some dust off of his 3 quarter length shorts, he had been wearing shorts and a vest top under his flight suit, that was now on his chair in the Freedom's cockpit.

"no, he doesn't" announced the main mechanic, "he doesn't let anybody near the Freedom, when it comes to repairs and piloting, he is the only one who can" stephen smiled "I personally made the Freedom, i engineered all of the technology that went into it, thats why you don't see any of the Enemy Units with it's capabilities" Stephen added. "so thanks for the offer, but im okay" he announced before returning to work "plus, you would only slow me down" he joked.

"Alright, alright......" Marcus said. He figured it would be the case. The Strike Freedom was unlike any Gundam ever produced by any of the three major corporations. So it made sense why he said so, to prevent secrets from letting out. "....Just take it easy, will ya? And good night, my friend." Marcus said before leaving te hanger bay, heading to his quarters and falling asleep. The last thought in his mind was, "At least I have a backup suit in case of emergencies."

the night felt long, working constantly on the Strike Freedom's arm, Stephen was running over the battle in his head, he couldn't believe a raven of such a low rank could hit the Freedom, never mind dismember the suit, "rookie was lucky" he continued informing himself, knowing true and well it was a good move by Galm.

as the sun rose, Stephen heard the Orders that the Eternal was to be sent back into space, but he didn't feel like he wanted to return, his father was on the Eternal and he knew that escorting him to the new colony was a bad idea, he and his father never got along, and the only reason he was being sent to the new colony was to give it a leader. "more power to beef up his ego" Stephen muttered as he climbed into the Freedom's cockpit and checked all of it's systems were working correctly, which they were.

Stephen then took the Freedom out for a test flight, mainly to make sure the arm didn't feel stiff, he never trusted the Equipment in the eternal's hangar as it wasn't the best in the Universe.

Marcus awoke to Orders that the Eternal would launch back into space. There were 2 reasons of this. One, because of the vulnerable position it is to the warring corporations, and two, because the leader of the Raven's space colony was heading to another one. Meanwhile, Marcus would have to start using his reserve Gundam while Oracle was being repaired. This unit was the Blast Impulse. With it's Deluge railguns, it will be able to combat even the toughest Guntanks (Heavily armored Tank-legged Gundams). Galm liked it for it's hard-hitting power as well as it's capable CQB ability with the beam javelin

Stephen smiled as the Freedom docked with the Eternal and the ship Launched, Stephen stayed in the Freedom as he knew what would be awaiting out in space "this is it guys, we have one order and one order only, get Ruler Hownam to his new colony, this is going to be a fun mission and if any of you screw up, please hold with you that you are the one responsable for my fathers death, and so i will be forced to hurt you" he announced into the com, to some low leveled pilots who had joined the crew on earth.

Stephen was smirking as he could sense the fear of the young pilots. "I'm jokin guy's, you have nothing to worry about asides getting shot in the ass of your suit, that would suck cos i would never let you hear the end of it" Stephen announced.

As the ship burst into space, three warships were on radar, Launching multiple suits, Stephen let out a large HA, before firing down the catapult and bursting into life "lets do this" he announced as he began the battle as he began to finish it, in style.

"Those are Kisaragi transports....." Marcus said, on top of the Eternal. "They've barely made it into space, and have been doing recon on the Eternal, I'll take out the transports, you'll deal with the suits." The Impulse started to charge up the Deluge cannons, ready to fire at the target. Locking on to one of the warships, Impulse fired the railgun, it's plasma beam shredding the ship in two. "one down, two to go."
