Gundam SEED: Controller

With the Oracle docked in the Eternal, the commander of the Eternal said, "We saw your skills back there and we are grateful for your service on the battlefield. From this point on, you are hereby promoted to D-class." Marcus, would've been happy, but with so many people dead. It just wasn't a good way to start off. "May I ask, where are we going." The commander said, "Layered....this was the 10th attack by controller forces in space since we've moved our higher-ranking ravens there, It has become too dangerous to stay here." "Understood sir." Marcus answered before walking off to meet up with Jester and the mayor of Colony 21."
 
the mayor walked over to Stephen and placed his hand on Stephen's shoulder "hello son" he announced and stephen's face became full of hatred "you call me son once i have saved your life, the only reason i did not allow your ass to get destroyed was because it was my orders told me to keep you alive" stephen pushed the mayors hand off of his shoulder, to the shock of his crew mates "Sir" Stephen announced before strideing over to the Freedom that was missing an arm "and if yu don't mind, i have to fix my suit" stephen announced as he began work on the Freedom's arm.

The mayor strode away in anger at the disrespect shown to him by his ownly son. the mayor went to the bridge to talk to the captain, Stephen on the other hand, had 7 hours to fix the Freedom's arm before he had to set off for earth, he would be supporting the carrier ship that would be carrying the other two pilots, there would probably be an attack to try and finish off the pilots, it seemed that the controller wanted all of the raven's dead.
 
Marcus saw Jester on near the hanger with the mayor. Overhearing the conversation, it was realized that the mayor they rescued was in fact, the man's father. Heading back to the Oracle, he knew it will be a long time before they reach Layered. Still, he couldn't help but wonder, "The Controllers attacks were few and far between, but is it a mere coincidence or is there something more to it."

The next day, the Eternal landed on an airstrip in the 1st District of the 1st Layer. Plans were being made for BB's funeral in the 2nd district. Marcus said to Stephen "Well, I hate funerals, but I know that he was a good soldier, and may he rest in peace, till then, I'll see ya later." He then left to go to the hanger, where he put the booster wings on storage, and left for the computer to check the missions.
 
Stephen had only just finished the repairs to the Freedom's arm when they arrived at Layered "damn, i aint gettin no sleep" Stephen muttered as he looked up at the Freedom, it was scratched and there was minor damage on the wings. Stephen climbed into the cockpit and powered up the systems, he tested the mobility of the arm, and as always he got it right.

Stephen then launched the Freedom and headed for the Funeral that both Ace and Rm had already set off for. Stephen flew through the air rapidly, and arrived at the cemetary quite quickly. as he gracefully landed the Freedom he left it powered up as he disembarked and headed over to the site of the burial. he was stood in his battle suit, as were the other two pilots from their Squad.

standing at attention as the funeral started, Stephen, Rm and ace had their helmets resting at their feet. Stephen wasn't a shamed about the tears streaming down his face. the others were also crying Stephen hated the fact that his squad member was dead, and because he was ordered elsewhere he couldn't save him.

stephen could see BB's mother, she was crying great more than the others, Stephen strode over and looked at her with the tears streaming down his face "I am Stephen hownam, i was BB's squad comander, he was an amazing pilot and I'm sorry i was not able to save him" Stephen announced BB's mother stood up and slapped Stephen "my only son, and you let him die" She announced as she sat back down Stephen strode back to the line and glanced around at the coffin, BB's piloting suit was lay on his coffin.

as the speaking ended, the coffin began getting lowered into the ground, four of the eight DRAGOON spikes disconnetcted from the Freedom's wings and floated in a row, firing individually with a couple of seconds between each beam. the last beam fired as the coffin stopped lowering, people then stood up and began leaving, Stephen picked up his helmet and slid it on "I'll see you guys back at the eternal" Stephen announced as he re-entered the cockpit and headed into the sky and back towards the eternal.
 
Marcus found a mission that he thought would bring last weeks allegations to a head.

Secure the Mine

Briefing:
"We'd like you to execute an attack on The Gran Mining Facility.
Kisaragi has played a leading role in the mine's operation and just
recently uncovered a rich vein of rare metal ore."

"Needless to say, the ore has considerable value and we're unwilling to
allow Kisaragi to corner the market."

"After consultation with other corporations, it was decided that the
mine's resources are to be equally distributed and that we, Mirage,
will take over its day-to-day operations."

"However, although Kisaragi agreed to this, they continue to mine the
ore and are in clear violation of the arrangement that was settled
upon."

"We want to avoid damage to the mine and its assets, but all Kisaragi
personnel are to be removed from the facility."

Marcus accepted this mission without hesitation. Knowing that Mirage would want the equipment secure, that means no projectiles to save ammo. "Looks like I can't use you ol' buddy." Before removing the machine gun and putting it in storage. He will have to use his beam saber in order to achieve the objective without a hitch.
 
Stephen landed in the hangar of the Eternal, he disembarked from the Freedom and his PDA went off, he checked it. a smirk creapt onto his face.

stephen looked over to Markus "Hey, Galm, you know who is being dispatched to attack the mine?" Stephen asked curiously, hoping it wouldn't be Royal mist or Ace in their secondary mobile suits, as stephen knew for a fact that the Impulse and the Destiny were both good suits, and the pilots were just as good as himself.
 
The smile on Marcus's face quickly faded, since he now will have to face off against his buddy. Still, he wanted to say it straight, "No, the Raven hired by Mirage to attack the mine is me. Good luck buddy, though with your skill, you won't need it." Even though Galm was going in a mismatched combat operation against Jester, he was not going to back down. Taking off from the Eternal, he would head towards Layered's 3rd District.

The Gran Mining Facility was established 2 years ago by the three corporations, who agreed to share the profits in an even 3-way split. But as the mission details stated, Kisaragi did not find their reources to be enough and decided to mine their resource to keep a monopoly on it. "Looks like I'm Mirage's only hope this time."

As he opened the door to the facility, he came under fire from Kisaragi's mobile suits. Oracle's Beam Saber glowed in a blue light, ready to cut down the enemy. 3 Suits, not to hard. Activating his overboosters, he came slicing across the Guard Suits, known as Reaper's. Armed only with a sub-machine gun, they posed no threat. He cut them down with little effort. Oracle picked up their submachine gun as well as their ammo and stored them in the hanger unit. "I'll need it for later on." By then 3 more Reaper came out, and started firing their Machine Guns. using the pipe as cover, Galm waited for them to come close, then cut their guns in half, damaging and disarming the enemy before going down into the next room. In the next room, was 2 Hawk MS's armed with battle rifles. Using the saber to block the shots, Oracle cut them down and damaged them, putting them out of action. Galm picked up the battle rifle and put his beam saber in the other hanger unit. "Guess it's time for me to wait."
 
the Strike Freedom followed Galm's suit without any real intention of destroying it, instead he watched and then flipped over Galm's head when he cut down the two Hawk Units opening a global channel Stephen smiled "This is as far as you go Galm, I'm sorry to say this, but we are shooting for opposite sides in this little shindig" As Stephen spoke, the 8 dragoon spikes of the Freedom disconnect and spaced out around it, all barrels aimed for Galm's cockpit, "If i was you, i wouldn't even try to go further down this shaft" he added as his shoulder mounted beam cannons and hip mounted rail guns also pointed forward "get out of here Galm, you don't stand a chance against me and we both know it" Stephen announced before switching channels to the kisaragi channel "this is Jester, your in combat entertainment, i am the Raven who has been hired to keep your resorces safe, do not worry about a thing, i am highly ranked more so than the opponants raven so all shall be good" Stephen announced before switching back to a global channel.
 
"Heh, your right." Galm said to Jester, pointing the battle rifle towards him, "I don't stand a chance against you, everybody knows that." Oracle dropped the battle rifle, and removed the SMG from the hanger unit. "But..." Marcus said as took out his beam saber. "...I'm still going to fight, I'll give it my all if you give it your all." Activating the beam saber, Galm then said, "I'll retreat when I take enough battle damage. Besides, you don't think it be right for a mercenary to run at the first sight of trouble, don't you think?"
 
Jester looked down, his eyes full of dispair, The freedom reached around and grabbed one of It's lancerta beam sabers "If you want me to give you my all, then so be it" Stephen announced as the beam saber activated "I'm sorry" he muttered before the targetting screen came up in the freedom's cockpit and all the locks landed on Galm's suit Stephen pulled the trigger and all of the Freedom's guns fired at Galm 'This should be easy' Stephen thought to himself.
 
Galm started to activate the overboosters. He hoped not only to counter the DRAGOON but to get in close so he won't be able to use it. "It's ok, buddy." marcus muttered, "We mercenaries should be able to fight how we please, I would like to prove myself against you." Using the OB, he barely managed to evade the initial blast, but was unable to make it closer. Instead he overshot the target and were now on the other side of the area. "That was a little too close." Marcus then decided to fire up their Overboosters and and chrage in at Stephen, ready for him to slice down on the unit.

"so it's close range you want" Stephen announced as The freedom grabbed one of It's lancerta beam sabers in it's right hand and the left wrist shield generator activated, all of the cannons of the freedom disactivated and the DRAGOON spikes re-connected to the wings. Stephen bloked the beam saber attack with the shield that was now generated on his arm, and he then swung at Galm, attempting to dis-arm [cut arm off not cut off beam saber] the foe suit.
 
Gundam SEED OST-Mission Kaishi

Galm knew Stephen would try to cut his only offense. Galm knew he wouldn't be able to dodge it quick enough so instead, he switched arms and tried to push the suit away, only to have his right arm sliced off. The computers responded, "Warning, AP at 50%" Marcus respondedfirst to his computer, "Yeah, yeah, I know." and then to Stephen, "It's not over yet, buddy." With his Moonlight Beam Saber in hand, he knew that to succeed, he would have to go through his shield. Using his regular boosters, he charged in to strike at Stephen's right, where he can only defend with his Lancerta.
 
as the attack came in the Freedom Switched the beam saber from his right to laft hand, and the right shield generator activated, the Freedom blocked the attack with ease and stephen smiled "that the best you got?" stephen announced into the global channel.

The Freedom's shield generator then deactivated as it grabbed it's second Lancerta beam saber, activating it, the Freedom attack the head and the left arm of Galm's suit simultaniously.
 
Marcus was surprised that there would be another arm shield on him. He had to block the Lancerta coming at his arm with the Moonlight, but was unable to block the Lancerta to the head, instead Marcus tried to lean backward, but the blade managed to hack his way through half of his head, damaging radar and ECM systems. "No, I'm only getting started." Marcus responded to Jester in a sly manner, with Oracle pointing the Moonlight beam saber towards him, it's blue blade glowing. Knowing he will most likely lose, he still has one trick up his sleve. Using the power from his boosters, he swung the saber 3 times at the Strike Freedom, creating a waves of blue energy coming towards Stephen. Then he activated his overboosters, getting behind him and swinging at the unit.
 
as the three beams came in at the Strike Freedom, stephen was able to doge two but the third removed the Strike Freedom's newly repaired right arm, Stephen then blasted forwards to avoid the attack from behind and the SF spun around to Face Galm and his unit.

the Freedom lifted what was left of it's right arm and Stephen became angry, the stump of the Freedom's arm was getting looked at by it's head "YOU DID NOT JUST FUCK UP MY FRESHLY REPAIRED ARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" As Stephen said this he felt something burst inside his head, his pupils became like pin heads and Stephen's eyes glowed more vibrantly.

The Freedom pointed it's remaining lancerta at Galm, as the freedom spun the Lancerta a couple of times, another beam came from the other end of the making it similar to a butterfly sword, "big mistake" Stephen muttered as the freedom launched towards Galm and began a full on assault, it was obvious now that Stephen was holding back before the removal of his arm.

Marcus being able to cslice off the Strike Freedom's right arm gave him a little confidence, but it was not over yet. Galm started to block off as many of Stephen's attacks as possible while saying, "Now we're even." He had however, taken quite a few hits from the Strike Freedom, and it would seem as if the Oracle would be defeated. Marcus wasn't ready to quit. "Alright...." Marcus started to focus more onto the battle, as he has triggered Stephen's SEED Mode. "Now it's my turn." He started running at full towards the Strike freedom, Moonlight in hand, and put all his efforts and energy into one final assault on Stephen.
 
as the slash came towards the freedom Stephen adjusted the position of his suit, dropped his Lancerta and used his remaining arm to grab the hand of the Oracle, "game over" Stephen muttered as one of the baleana beam cannons flipped over his shoulder and the barrel presed up against the head of the Oracle "bang" Stephen muttered before the beam fired.
 
The Oracle had it's head blasted off and it's torso suffering a great deal of damage by the Strike Freedom's laser cannon. At this time the computer responded, "Danger, AP at 10%." The Oracle was badly beatup, and sparks were flying everywhere from the frame. It could barely lift up the moonlight to strike back at the Strike Freedom, by the time he was able to point the saber at Stephen, the Oracle finally kneeled down in defeat. "I concede." Marcus said, happy that he was able to get this fight. Putting a channel to the Mirage forces, he said, "I'm done, abort the mission." Then putting a channel to Stephen, he said, "Well, it was obvious that you were the better Raven today. Struggling to get back up, he turned around and activated his boosters. "I'm glad to fight you today, I know now that I'll have to do some more practice, then we'll settle this again, buddy. Till then...." Marcus started boosting out of the Gran Mining Facility and headed back to base.
 
Stephen opened a channel to his allies "this is ester of the Strike Freedom, mission accomplished, it was a pleasure doing business wit ya" he announced before the Freedom's wings spread and he blasted after Galm.

as he caught up, the Freedom ducked and spun, so it locked into the Oracle, under it's arm, "need a lift" stephen announced on a private channel between the two, "and by the way, I'll pay for the repairs to the Oracle" he added as the boosters of the Freedom hit max campacity and the pair got back to base twice as fast, as the Freedom carried the oracle in, some of the pilots who were working on their own suits gazed in awe "what the fuck happened to the oracle" one announced over the radio, Stephen smirked "he blew of my arm" he announced in reply through a speaker.
