Gundam SEED: Controller

"Don't worry, It's not like I haven't had experience in battle before." Marcus said, "I used to be an Mobile Suit pilot for Mirage." With 20 targets coming in on all sides, they would've have been surrounded and cut down had they been equipped with something a little better. They started appearing, "Bishop-class, the standard mobile-suit for any minor terror group." Marcus said, "Chicken-legged, with nothing more to them but a mere 3 inch gun." Heading to the center of the ring, Marcus fired his machine guns at a group of 5 Bishops, all of which went down almost instantaneously.

Suddenly, a Raven started showing up in a Reverse-Jointed Gundam, "This is Gaidoz, let me help you out a bit." Gaidoz was ranked E-2, and pilot of the Guernica (named after a city bombed during the Great Destruction.) He equipped Spread Lasers attached to his arms, which he used to Great effect, destroying the enemy at close range. "This guys is some help, but he's stealing my credits." Marcus thought.
 
the Freedom launched towards a group of 5 suit's and with his Lancerta beam sabers cut them all down with ease, Stephen then switched to his Beam rifles and blew down another two suits. The Freedom then dropped down and landed on the floor, he connected the two beam guns together, turning them into a beam cannon, the Freedom then pointed the gun at a group of 3 suits and pulled the trigger, destroying them all.

"thats 10 for Jester, this is way to easy" Stephen announced into the com through to Galm, "i thought you said you could keep up man" Stephen added as the Freedom disconnected the two rifles and then pointed them towards two suits "Boo ya" he announced before shooting, killing one of the suits and destroying the other's head.
 
"Heh, are you kidding me, I've only just got started." Marcus said with a grin, thie first time in days. Drawing out his beam saber, Oracle boosted towards the remaining 5. Using his speed, he shot through the cockpit of 2 of them, destroying it completely. Then sliced another 2 Bishop's into pieces. The last one, scared out of his mind, tried to call in reinforcements, but Marcus said, "Not this time." Using his regular boosters, he evaded the enemy's 3-inch rifled gun and sliced it's leg off, then fired a few rounds with his machine gun.

Guernica also showcased his skill, coming in close and firing his Spread Laser Cannon on an unsuspecting bishop, destroying it almost instantaneously. He turned towards Jester and then Galm and said, "I heard of your survivability back in Trene, and I don't buy it. In fact, I issue a chalenge to face you in this very Arena tommorrow." Marcus responded "I accept your challenge." Gaidoz smiled and said, "Tomorrow night, in the Arena, be there or be square." before leaving the Arena.
 
Stephen smiled as Markus accepted the challenge. "guys, keep your handbags away" Stephen announced as he turned to Galm, and his suit "Lets head back to base for now" Stephen announced as the wings of the Freedom sprang up and the Freedom set off, heading back towards the raven's main base, commonly known as the nest.

upon his approach he called his entrance in, and the hangar door opened for him. "welcome back jester" the control room announced "it's good to be back, i was starting to get sick of all the scrubbed air, and artificial gravity" Stephen joked causing the control room worker to chuckle "Now i remember why your callsign is Jester" the wrorker announced "Galm should be comming soon" Stephen announced before landiing the Freedom and disembarking.
 
Galm returned to the hanger of the Nest to prepare for his match against Gaidoz. He knew what his armaments were. His primary weapon was a more powerful version of an energy shotgun. Though the Gundam guernica had a misile launcher, that would be taken care of with the SILENT. But in order to get a clear cut shot at close quarters combat, he would have to outdo the E-class in aerial combat. "What should I use to win that match." Marcus thought.
 
Stephen smiled as Galm asked his opinion on what he should do to help his arial performance "well, there are three things you can do. the first, is get some wings for your suit, a set of booster wings should do the trick, but ordering them and getting them here before your match is risky." Stephen walked over to Galm's suit and looked around it "The second, is to shift the balance of your systems towards areal combat, but that runs the risk of running out of overboost before the match i over" Stephen then walked back out from behind Markus' suit and over to the pilot "and the third is you could destroy your foe's boosters at the start of the fight" Stephen informed Galm.

"There is a fourth way, but i don't think you will like it" Stephen announced as he strode over to the Strike freedom and placed his hand on the leg of the suit "Change your weapon layout, that close range energy weapon is great, if your upclose and personal, but against a pilot who is an arial combatant you wont stand a chance, nor will you last 30 second's against him" Stephen explained
 
After hearing Jester's opinions, he stated, "Taking out it's boosters is risky, I will need a clear shot to do so. My Gundam unit is rare in which has an integrated hanger system. I just need to get a smaller Machine Gun and a long range rifle. Keep my distance from the guy when he uses his Spread Laser and fire at him. Hopefully I might get his booster or his laser cannon's pulse generator."
 
Stephen smiled as Galm spoke, almost as though he was thinking out loud. "You could just back out of the challenge" Stephen announced. *Beep Beep* Stephen heard his PDA let out some sounds, informing him that he had a new message. He slid it open and looked at the message held inside.

Stephen looked at Markus and then to the floor "I would love to help you with your upgrades, but I'm going home" Stephen announced. Stephen strode over to the Strike Freedom and climbed into the cockpit, pulling his helmet on he booted up the system and exited the hangar. Upon arrival outside stephen flipped and launched the Freedom straight up, his suit was one of only few that could break through the atmosphere without the aid of a mass driver, or additional boosters.

A couple of minutes after setting off, Stephen was in space. The vast darkness that was space. Stephen slammed his thrusters to full and headed towards earth colony 21, his birthplace, His parents were still living there, or so Stephen thought. "Hold on guys" Stephen muttered to himself as he traveled at an impressive speed, that was so great, if it wasn't for his suit and head Stephen would have been a jelly on his cockpit seat for some unlucky bastard to clean off with a mop.
 
"Alright, see you later." Marcus said to a leaving Stephen. Marcus then turned thought of Stephen's device. Luckily, he was able to acquire tapes of Guernica's previous matches. It was there that he learned something. Though he is an aerial combatant, he has a weak generator, coupled with the fact that his spread laser cannon arms draw from it, making him recharge would be enough to win the match. Now that Galm knew his tactics, that would be enough to build on his strategy.

Going onto the Global Cortex mainframe, he went to the shop to acquire the GS-72 shotgun. This was Mirage's shotgun model. Lightweight, Decent damage up close, plenty of ammo. It's spread is dense enough to hit hard even at mid range combat. After he bought the shotgun. He checked the News reports of the day.

Global Cortex: Had suffered it's 3rd terrorist attack in 3 days, with a terror group, possibly belonging to the same group, attacking the Raven's Nest Arena. It was thankfully repulsed by 3 Ravens with minimal casualties. Two of those Ravens are scheduled to face off in the Arena tomorrow.

Mirage: During joint excersices with Crest Industries in Trene City, a terror group attacked the city, though the attack failed, both sides suffered heavy casualties, including one of 3 Ravens hired for the job. There has been some rumors that Crest or Mirage was involved in the attack, both companies have stated it was false.

Crest: A group of employees, unhappy with the decision to shutdown the Ziden Weapons Factory, took control of it. The Crest special forces were able end the standoff with 7 of the rebels killed. The purpose of this closing was to dismante the factory and use it to build more housing for Layered's poor.

Kisaragi: Will be sending in supplies to Adan City tomorrow. Adan City, which suffered a terror attack yesterday that left 18 dead, 2 wounded and 1 missing, is entirely grateful of it.

After looking through the situation. Marcus headed for his quarters and went to bed. Tomorrow, he would start his match.

as Stephen rapidly approached the battlefield he could see the battle raging, and as he looked on his radar, there were 3 red blips to every 1 green, signifying that the battle was 3 to one against him, as he was getting closer, Stephen kept noticing the depleting green dots, and the numbers of the red dots hardly shrinking.

when he got into gun range, a com opened up to his suit "The freedom" it announced "Jester, please tell me that is you?" the voice was familiar and stephen entered the fray "Ace, where are BB and royal mist?" Stephen asked as he downed a couple of suits with his beam sabers "their dead" replied Ace. "no" stephen muttered as the Freedom's DRAGOON spikes disconnected and began firing at enemy mobile suits.

the Freedom was spinning and diving, there were currently 6 suits focused on downing it, while others were taking pot shots at it whilst chasing other, lesser, pilots. Ace, had his hands ful elsewhere and there was no chance of Stephen getting any backup, but he wouldn't stop fighting, his parents were in the colony so he had to defend it, no matter what.
 
Marcus woke up the next morning refreshed and ready to go. He put the Oracle's trustty machine gun in the right hanger unit, inside the core.He then equipped the shotgun to the unit. he is ready to face him.

The arena was set for the big matchup the annouancer said, Tonight we have 2 E-class Ravens from opposite sides of the spectrum ready for combat. The annouancer said, "In this corner, we have a Raven who survived an attack from a Gundam killer, who knew he had it in him. Presenting GALM!!!!!" Apparently his survival was big news, as crwds were cheering loudly, Marcus instead put his focus into the fight. The annouancer again said, "And this Raven is here to disprove it, but does he have the power, give it up for the Badass Spainiard, GAIDOZ!!! After the annouancements, the crowd, numbering about 3,500, shouted 3, 2, 1, FIGHT!!!!!

Armored Core 3: OST-Free Verse

Guernica took off into the air and started to head toward Oracle. Oracle boosted out and looked up, keeping his eye on his enemy. He activated the SILENT in case he started firing missiles, but he was more focused on the laser cannon, which he started using. Fortunately it was like his shotgun, it was dense, though a little less. He was able to dodge most of his rounds, only getting hit by some of the energy flak. Oracle then fired his 12 shotgun rounds, which Guernica dodging 80% of the rounds. This got him mad, "Come on and fight me up close." he said, Galm responded, "Nah, go ahead and keep pelting me." Gaidoz complied and continued to fire. After about 2 minutes of dodging each others rounds, it would seem that Oracle suffered some damage, though nothing life endangering. Gaidoz said, "That's it, you've reached your limit, it would seem to be over for Galm, until the pulse generator for the Guernica started to shut down to recharge and the Gundam fell flat on it's face. "What...What's going on!" Gaidoz said, and Marcus responded, "Looks like you've reached your limit." Before dropping his shotgun and drawing out his beam saber. "You lose." Before stabbing his saber down on the unit's head. A destroyed head meant a loss in the arena. The annouancer finally said, "Well, you saw it here folks, your winner tonight is, "GALM!!!!!!" The crowd went wild as Galm achieved a major victory in the arena. He would never realize until Galm came back down that due to the 2 A-class Raven's deaths, he would be promoted to the D-class.
 
Stephen was spinning and dodging, he ha dbeen battling for hours on end, Stephen was finding it hard to keep up with the high numbers but the numbers were slowly going down. "come get some" Stephen shouted as he began shooting more and more of his beam rounds towards the enemy knocking more of them into the afterlife. "come on" he shouted as Ace's voice came through the com "Jester, come help me out" Stephen looked over and saw Ace's blip on the radar.

The freedom's wings spread and the Freedom launched over, towards him, spinning around, dodging bullets and beams. stephen then intercepted a beam heading for Ace's cockpit, using his shield generator, Jester and Ace then began working like they did when they were rookie pilots, they were working in perfect sincronization.
 
Oracle returned to the hanger, putting the shotgun in storage before Galm climbing out of the suit. Marcus won 4500 credits that day, but wished that Jester had come to see it. "Ah well, I'm sure he's busy training in space." He turned to the news and saw what happened for today.

Crest: The Siege at the Ziden Weapons Factory came to an end. The Crest Special Forces Unit prevented the release of a deadly nerve gas toxin. All 15 rebels were confirmed killed, where at least 1 special forces soldiers confirmed kiled as well. Despite the rebellion, Ziden will officially close tomorrow.

An escapee, believed by Crest to be a mole, esxcaped from a resarch Laboratory, but he and his acomplice were killed by a Raven before he escaped. It was believed that one of the corporations were responsible but it has not disclosed whom.

Kisaragi: The transport headed for Adan City was set with a bomb that has been planted by a terror group. Throught the combined help of Kisaragi's Bomb Disposal Team, Kisaragi Special Forces and a Raven, the bomb was sucessfully defused. All 10 terrorists were killed, as well as 5 Special Forces soldiers.
 
As jester and ace battle against the massive amounts of the foes. jester's kill count was into the hundreds, 104 to be precise. Stephen opened a com link to the HQ "this is jester" Stephen announced as he was dodging and firing "myself and ace are up against over a hundred enemy units" Stephen continued as he continued firing "Send everybody" he added, trying to protect the colony in which he had been born. "Jester, this is HQ, we apologise for the current odds, but all mobile suits are dispatched on more important missions, we have researched your current mission and have come to the conclusion that the mission is a failure, please return to the Eternal and leave the battlefield"

"What of the colony?" Stephen asked, destroying another two suits "the colony shall be left for the faction, to do with as they please" Stephen gritted his teeth "BUT THEY WILL DESTROY IT!!!" Stephen shouted in a rage "Jester, that is not the problem of the Raven's, you are to follow your orders" Stephen cut the com channel and continued battling "Jester, this is Ace, I'm bugging out" Stephen was shocked by ace and looked over to the gundam that was leaving "if your not with me, then your against me" Stephen announced as he connected his beam rifles together and fired a beam at Ace from the beam cannon, and destroyed Ace and his suit.

it was almost as though Stephen had lost his sanity, firing his beam cannon killing many of the foes. "You shall not kill anyone else" Stephen shouted into a global channel so the foes could hear him. The DRAGOON spikes disconnected and began firing at the foes, Stephen had certainly lost something. being on a killing spree now Stephen was causing amazing amounts of carnage without caring for his own life or that of anyone else.

all of a sudden Stephen took a beam to the arm, blowing it off and stopping his power. "Shit" Stephen announced the DRAGOON spikes were still firing and so were the cannons comming over the shoulder, also the hip mounted rail guns were working perfectly. stephen was still fighting with all of his power, but he was fighting a loosing battle.
 
Marcus recieved an e-mail on the computer, telling the mission details, it said.

Evaucate the Colony

"This is a serious situation, we are requesting that you assist in the evacuation efforts from Space Colony 31."

"We do not know who is involved in the attack, but it is presumed that the Controller discovered our secret space headquarters."

"We should've have thought of that possibility, but it's too late now. Help all evacuation efforts to Layered."

"We will supplant you with some additional boosters to make the trek to space, keep....them....."

Marcus thought, "Oh no, the Controller again?" He stopped what he's doing, and accepted the mission. Climbed into his AC and took off for the shop where he was fitted with winged boosters. Telling the engineer "Thanks" Galm took off for space. These winged boosters had enough ower to head into space in 3 minutes, with his generator having enough energy for full boost power for about 3:30.

Getting into space, he saw a big battle approaching. Seeing the mangled remains of the 3 ranking Raven caused Galm to worry. When Marcus came within range, he called on Jester, "Don't worry buddy, I got your back. I've ben called on to evaucate the colony to Layered." He started firing on the enemy suits. Killing as many units in the battlefield, he started to notice the make of those units, "They're definitely Controller in Origin. Jester, we must hold out as long as we can, try to get everybody in the colony out, then activate the self-destruct mechanism, we either destroy the colony along with them in it, or we risk losing space to the Controller."

jester's tempo hadn't been slowed by the fact of his arm had been blown off, he just continued going, no matter what he would kill all of them, even if the colony was evacuated, he was sick of battling against this type of foe, the kind who would stop at nothing to kill, so Stephen would stop at nothing until they were all dead. "Galm, this is our fight" Stephen announced as he pulled his Lancerta beam saber and took the Freedom into close range attacks, whilst his DRAGOON spikes were shooting at random enemies.
 
Armored Core Nexus OST-Circulation All Over

Galm continued pressing the assault, firing his machine gun on controller units, he did not want it to be another massacre, if it meant destroying the Controller's units, he will. Marcus said, "All right, let's get them." He continued firing at the suits, but everytime one goes down, another takes it's place, to the point where he ran out of machine gun rounds, forcing him to discard it and use the beam saber. It was at this point something snapped in Galm, charging at the enemy, slicing one of the units down and grabbing another to use it's laser rifle and make him fire at the enemy, causing some of the units to focus on him and forcing them to kill it's own unit.
 
as Stephen continued to battle on as hard as he could, only having one arm made it harder, Stephen could see Galm battling on, "come in ravens in the skies above Colony 21, this is the colony mayor, myself and my administrators were the last off of the colony, you have permission to destroy it, don't let those batards take it" Stephen gritted his teeth and looked at the monitor showing the face of the Mayor "Mayor Hownam, this is Jester, command aknowledged" Stephen announced as he glanced back at the colony, "Galm cover me" Stephen announced as he flipped upside down, both his Xiphias 3 rail cannons and also his balaena plasma cannons deployed and pointed at the main power sauce of the Colony.

"you won't take this colony" Stephen muttered as he pulled the trigger, the four large energy guns fired and the attack hit it's mark, moments later the Colony began exploding from the inside and Stephen flipped around and continued firing at the now retreating controller Units. "Why run now?" Stephen announced as his guns flipped back into position and the Freedom drew it's beam saber , "the fight is only just getting started" Stephen added as the Freedom blasted after the units and killed off a couple before the mayor's voice came back through the com, "strike Freedom, pilot Jester, your orders are to escort the Mayoral Ship to the flagship eternal." Stephen then stopped spun around and blasted over, flying alongside the ship carrying the mayor.
 
Galm took the laser rifle from the fallen controller unit and started to fire at the retreating units before performing a hammerhead stall and headed for the Mayoral Ship, landing safely on the ship itself. He knew the mission was a success, but didn't want to talk about it. One of the liasion officers working for Global Cortex said, "We have confirmed Royal Mist and Ace has survived the attack and have recovered their escape pods. They have returned to base." Marcus said, "Good, something tells me that this will lead to future reprisals."

as the Mayoral ship docked inside the eternal's hangar, stephen landed the Freedom in it's bay and looked over at Ave and RM's bay to see an escape pod in each. Stephen disembarked from the Freedom and ran to the debriefing room. he practically jumped through the door as it slid open and saw Ace and RM, "Guys, your alive, thank god, where is BB?" Stephen announced, questioning tone at the end of his statement. "Dead, he died" Stephen gritted his teeth and punched the wall "Fuck!" he announced in anger.

his eyes filling with tears, the four ace pilots became extremely close, they were like siblings. "the funeral is on earth, tomorow" Ace muttered, "myself and Royal are heading down, you comming" Stephen looked at them "of course i am, BB was like my brother aswell" stephen glanced over his shoulder, "there has to be a full member of the unit there, including their suit" Stephen informed the others. "so take the Freedom" ace said as he took a bite out of his mars bar "it, kinda. . ." Stephen paused a moment "lost an arm"

Both ace and RM jumped from their seats and announced "WFT" at the same time Stephen let out a laugh "yea, i got hit, big shocker" Stephen announced before ace came in, with a "first time for everything" Stephen nodded before pausing "I gotta go" he announced "repairs?" Rm asked "Father is on board" Stephen replied, causing a shocked look to appear on their faces and they both muttered "oh"

stephen then left the de-breifing room and ran to the hangar to meet his father off of the mayoral ship, boy did it suck being the mayor of a colony "Shit" Stephen repeated as he ran through the corridor "i hope he aint off the ship yet" he shouted as he dove through a doorway, rolling on the other side of the hangar. he leant against a pole on a higher level to the ship, he saw the door open and his father stepped out of the jet "ah, Mayor hownam Sir" stephen announced.
