Wasn't sure exactly where to put this thread, but I felt that this was the best place. If I'm wrong, can a mod or admin move it to the correct location? Thanks.

Anyway, yeah, general plot discussion for this thread. I think I'll start.

Gun Jack, for your Shadow Strike attack, do you know exactly what the attack does step-by-step and how powerful it is against say armor? Yeah, also, for future reference, Sevan only has about 60% dark magic left (imparted from Mortalia).

On a side note, I acknowledge that Gun Jack would have won this fight if it hadn't been for Mehaha's buff. :P

On another side note, feel free to ask me any questions on my character or details about his specifics.

okay. this is in regards to the weapon issue.

It is an absolute rule that no one can do anything that may force a character to act in a certain way. you may type something that may hint strongly at a reaction that one might follow, but you must never actually say something has happened. In this case, My weapon is actually a mythical weapon and isnt just some cheapo stuff. If it was, id probably let it go as i did with the punch. Since that isnt the case and is extremely important to my character. Inn addition, you are dictating how our fight is turning out and forcing me to lose by successfully attacking my character without consent, hence god modding.

I know they recommend that they dont make ther weapon indestructible, but all in all, it is not up to the other characters to decide whether it breaks. It is up to the player themselves. RP's tries to encourage players to not just dodge everything, but actually accept losing in some cases, just like Gun Jack. He took the initiative and lost (as it must happen in a fight). About how "This makes you more likely to do something to protect the weapon", your actions completely contradict your statement. You went and broke it without even giving me a chance to protect it.

Your high speed travel and super strength cannot dictate whether you can break it or not. You cannot directly just assume that since it is fast/strong to you, that it is fast/strong to another character. In this case, my character does acknowledge that your character is strong and fast, but not to the point of being overwhelmed and unable to react when you attack her weapon. As i said before, you said a few seconds. Fights generally do not last particularly long and a few seconds in a fight is an extended period of time.

Linking in with that, have you read my actual character? Lets be fair, you probably didnt (as like most people. RP bios are rather long to read). I actually went and skimmed over your character so i get a general idea of her ability. Now if you had gone over my character, then you'd know that she is much faster and stronger than any humans by nature. Therefore, if i go by your way of rping, i could effectively just go and destroy everyone elses weapons before they realise since they are all humans. However, i dont. The way you write is that you assume your character IS faster/stronger than mine.

lastly, "if you couldn't logically attack it" is a flawed argument with your character. From what i read, it seemed to be able to teleport at ease and move anywhere. In that case, then that severely restricts myself in anything. For all i know, i could pull every single one of my 10 magic weapons out and you easily break it. Not happening. If she cant teleport, then im afraid your character (actually no character) can not move fast enough for my character to react, unless she can travel several meters in 0.25 seconds.

I'll ask Red Fox about this in any case.

No God-Modding - A number one rule in any RP. You cannot decide the actions of your opponent, nor can you successfully attack them unless THEY have written in the post before that the attack was successful. We encourage writers to be fair and to think about the situation they are in. Would an attack be successful at a specific time? Or wouldn't it? These are up to the player but never should one player assume and write the outcome of their attacks upon another.

Not only is it unfair but it also breaks this rule.

I'm going to take a look over the battle properly soon to address this weapon situation.

I was PM'ed about the issue of a broken weapon.
Ill just clarify it here short and easy.

Regardless of the reasons, one player is NOT allowed to destroy or in some way manipulate an opposing players' weapons, items, armor and such.

Even if the weapon was a wooden sword, and if it was struck wit ha sharp metal blade.
Where this is an extreme case, the one using the metal blade is NOT allowed to decide what happened to the opposing one.
The reason is simple: "it is not yours, thus you don't decide"
 
Reading over his response in the rp, i think he made a misinterpretation in what i meant.

"The sword cam down and she defended against it with her bracer" over "The blade came down and she hoped she defended against it with her brace"

is the example he gave me. What i meant was that you can say she blocked it. Thats fine, but you cant dictate MY actions. Dodging or blocking is your actions, hence under your control. Striking and my possessions are under my control, hence you cant say what happens to them. i think he thought that he cant just say he blocked it without specific permission from his opponent.

Mehaha, I also have a small question: How powerful is the spell you cast on Sevan? I mean, you said it was a fourth of the strength that you cast on you, but how strong is that spell? I assumed that it allowed for some healing and strength, but is that all there is to it?

Yeah, I'm just a little confused about the overall strength of the spell. That way, I know how many more times Sevan can rely on it before it's depleted.

Bara, i owe you big time for making this thread for me! I hadn't expected a need for this, but apparently this became a lot more popular then i expected.

Side note before i move on to important stuffs, More people may join if they wish. Just please get someone to fight while your at it. Ok, moving on!

My shadow strike technique basically launches beams of shadow at my opponent, something within 6-10. It goes towards my opponent, and i kinda can't desribe how it works against armor, as this is somewhat my first fight using the ability, and i never expected people to be wearing armor. As the attack was already launched, Bara, you can kinda choose within reasonable limits about what happens to it.

Also, Mehaha, your spell must drain a lot out of you to summon that many zombies. Unless they were all totally weak, you must have limited amount of magical power left. Kinda like my summoning of the skeletons ripped apart my mana, literally, as i have no mana left from doing so. My only way to recover my mana is by using my shadow form, and i have certain compunctions about doing so. I'll probably use it if i get near to losing, and if i do so, you'll know i'm in deep trouble.

Anyways, thanks to all of you participating, your doing an amazing job with the RPing and all, and this is becoming something i hadn't expected. If any of you have any complaints or anything, post em here and i'll answer soon as i get!

Let's continue with this amazing fight, and make sure you understand exactly what your doing before you post. Oh, and no entirely OOC posts in that thread. If you really have that long of a query for someone, post em here. Entirely OOC post in something like this is a bit disappointing, as we do have PM functions. As we also have this now as well (thanks Bara!) make sure to use it instead of posting a total OOC thing.

Now that you mention it, 500+ reanimated zombies is a tad bit too many for it to be a side spell. Plus, not to mention, she had done the buff spell and th massive raining acid spell too.
 
Sorry to double post, but this is kind of important. Yeah, it appears that Mortalia has jumped off the deep end. I say we temporarily unite, and see where it takes us.
 
She is taking things too far. I am now currently contacting Mortalia, as i don't want to bring the moderators into this if i don't have too. They're busy enough as it is.

Anyways, sorry, i kinda forgot about that earlier. Damn.... now that people have posted, i can't go edit. A moral rule of mine. I don't edit my posts after someone else has posted. Could you just repeat your name to him, and use your full name?

Again, i am now working on the trouble with Mehaha, and it will hopefully be resolved soon.
 
I was kind of waiting for Judge Aurelian to post, but I guess I'll go ahead and make the next post. Expect something within the next hour or so.

It was a strength spell... I'm say from your original lifting 500lbs to lifting 1500lbs.

Um... Not many people are going to like the wording but I sent a PM on this matter. The fact that this battle started in a graveyard of all places basically makes me god. This is due to my RPCs skills. All were approved skills and directed towards graveyard and city fights.

The thread leader want this to stay 1v1 but if he is alright with the current situation then... I am alright with other teaming up against me. I was basically sticking to my RPCs personality sorry if it caused problems.

Also someone should have told me this thread existed...
 
So, what's going on for our thread?

If it's dead, that's fine, but if not, I'm curious as to what's next?
