What do you think of the series as a whole? Do you think that they should spend as much time as they do on the East Coast, or should they make at least one more for the West Coast?

Do the characters inspire you or repell you? Are the the events portrayed in the games an accurate event of what happens within Ral Life gangs?

I'm pretty sure GTA San Andreas was based off of a West Coast setting like San Fran, LA, and such.

I've played and beaten GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA San Andreas, and I've played GTA IV, but haven't beat it yet even though it came out almost a year ago. I really should pop it in and beat it soon. I do enjoy the games, but I don't spend a lot of time running around and just shooting people like many people enjoy doing. I'm more into the missions, and once I beat it, I retire the game.

Good series overall though.

Well San Andreas was my favourite if the series, so I wouldn't mind seeing another GTA with a similar setting.

I've never actually finished a GTA game, I only own GTA:III and San Andreas, but I have played Vice City, GTA:II, GTA:IV and the first GTA too. I generally just do a few missions until I have most of the map unlocked, then I just go on crime sprees and try to see how long I can survive before the police get me. I find random crime sprees more fun than the actual storyline missions. -_-

The characters are by no means inspiring to me nor do they really repulse me, GTA is one of those games that I play solely for the gameplay. I don't know whether the events depicted are accurate or not, I am neither an East Coast nor a West Coast gangster.

When you say West Coast, I prefer to think of the beaches of California and so on. I would love more tropical settings like Vice City.

True, but there's only so much you can do with Miami from the 80's before it gets boring and repetative.

it is an oki series i liked GTA iv out of all of them and san andreas is my second but i still feel they are missing something, i would actually like to bring back the whole staying in shape and keeping track of your weight and all tht i think tht was a good idea then rockstar dropped
it :(

Finially got IV today, been putting it off for months, but decided to just get earlier. Enjoying it so far, though the cars to seem to spin out way too easily.

Played GTA on PS1. Was pretty young at the time, didn't really "get it" so was basically shooting people, running away from police and driving around. Same with the second one.

London doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned.

GTA:III - Good game, enjoyed that quite alot when it first came out.

Vice City: Best so far, love the theme to the game, aswell as the entire feel to it.

San Andreas: I've spent hours on this, though I liked VC more, I find driving around for an hour or so not really doing anything other than just that - driving, quite good. Story was pretty cool.

LC Stories: Not played much of it. Had it on PSP, but sold the PSP before getting very far on it.

VC Stories: Not played.

IV: Not long started it, so it could be my new favourite as I get deeper into it.

I'm not really a big fan of the GTA, it's enjoyable when you play it but then afterwards I realized that I don't really enjoy it that much, like IV. I think it might just be the genre of the game, tbh, I don't really enjoy games when you just go round shooting people, stealing cars etc. so it might just be the fact I'm not a fan of that rather than disliking the actual series >.>

I think, to me, GTA is only fun because of the crime sprees you get to go on to... And sometimes, the cheat codes, when you've completed all that there is in the game.. To proceed on to be a 'Don of all Liars', as seen in Vice City..

I don't really care about the settings, honestly, nor do i bother about the storyline. The only reason why i stay on would definitely be the sprees.
