Well I have already sent a destaffing request to one of the admins. I'm not really bothered to hear that a few members (and mods) are disappointed in my actions as a moderator. I know that I haven't been online quite enough lately. I'm a little sad to hear gossip floating around about me, but I would be much happier being a regular member than to have any one be disappointed in my actions. ^.^

I already informed everyone that I was dealing with regular issues in my life (quite a while back), and I also recently informed the rest of staff that I would physically be gone for at least a few good weeks.

And just in case more rumors start to spread. Yes, I'm really (sad actually) that VengfulRonin has been acting the way that he has in regards to my actions (or non actions for that matter). I guess that for me to come back from vacation and see even just one member so upset with my lack of activity made me realize that I don't belong on staff anymore. I should have resigned back in August when I had first intended to. XD

Anyhow. Bye staff. Not sure how long it will take for LeeD to get my private message! XD

Oh c'mon Rhea, you can't let a few stupid pricks get you down! Really you shouldn't even step down to make a few happy just because they don't like you. There is not 1 member on the staff who isn't hated by someone. You know you can do more on staff than as a regular member
 
I agree with BeiBei, you can't let one member trolling you make you quit staff, especially since you like the job and you care about the members.

You're still gonna be posting around though, right? :(
 
You've wanted to for a while, and considering recent events, I'm not surprised this is happening right now.

Though I'd prefer for you to stay as an RP mod. ;p
 
That d00sh won't shut up, will he? He can go to hell, I have not seen a single problem with your work. Stay! Don't let idiots with no life like that make you feel bad.

Really though, don't leave unless you're going to go about another week or two without being on, or if your job is interfering with your life... There's really no other reasons for you to go.
 
I already talked about quitting a few months back (when Josh was still the site owner). Buttttt I really felt like I would have been letting him down by quitting. I haven't made any moderating actions in a while, I'm frequently unable to sit down for hours at a time because I'm doing other things around the house...things are very hectic right now.

My boyfriend just had his car demolished by a drunk driver, and again (this morning actually) had his rental car crashed into. I'm helping him put together his insurance details. I'm helping him with extra work that he brings home so he won't have to stay at work for 12+ hours. I consume half of the day by cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. XD
You know, I'm just working with every day life materials. ^.^

I'm not leaving. I just don't want to be on staff right now. ^.^
Don't make a big issue about it; it's not it's not, I assure you. ^.^
 
Wow... Your boyfreind has some seriously bad luck, doesn't he? Someone wrecked his car THEN the rental? Damn.
 
Haha yeah. I shouldn't be laughing, but his luck is absurd. 5th wreck this year. The most ridiculous one was being backed into in the drive through line at McDonalds. All the rest of them were side swipes. =S
Shit happens I guess.
 
FIFTH? Damn, how high are your insurance rates? I'm suprised you can even afford internets! D=
 
It sux to see you leave your position as moderator. I, for one, thought you were a great addition to the position, even though I've only been around for 3 months. You really shouldn't let people get to you. If anything you can ban the rulebreakers so that no one has to put up with it. Even if your decision is caused by not having enough time to be a moderator for the time being, then consider it a vacation. There are plenty of staff members who can pick up the extra work for a few weeks or however long is needed. But if you still insist on it, then I hope you don't just simply leave altogether. Stop by and say hi every once in a while. Best of luck to you. (And your boyfriend. Seems like he needs all he can get.)
 
I don't know you and you may not know me, but all I have to say is: As long as you're doing your job as a moderator without abusing your power, who cares what everybody else thinks? Reconsider your decision... That is all...

VR is one in a sea of members. I for one see nothing wrong with what you've been doing and what else you've been doing is great.

I'd also like to see you as an RP mod though if you're intent on giving up on the GMod position...

EDIT: Oh, this is in the spam section, so I suppose it won't hurt if I don't take this thread seriously. :monster:

No, I really just don't want to be a moderator for the time being. I would love to moderate the RP section as well, but I'm afraid I'm too much of a procrastinator. XD
I am really passionate about role playing, but I just don't have the time and patience right now. ^.^
I want a nice decent break so I can fart around and post normal posts like everyone else. Plus, it's hard to get to know new members when you're busy infracting them and whatnot. :monster:


Now off to finish getting dressed up. ^.^
I have an awesome costume. ^.^

And I'm sitting next to an open can of sardines; therefor I feel like vomiting. ^.^
 
Rhea is an awesome mod! but, if she really wants to resign from staff, it is her decision, after all...
 
I already told LeeD that I would be happy to come back to staff (probably after the holidays). I'm just super busy and I don't want people to mistake me for a lazy mod. ^.^

On the other hand, I had a great Halloween. I hope everyone else did too!!!

Don't worry, VengfulRonin has given me one helluva hard time to, grrrrrr. But you shouldn't let him or anyone else stop you from being a mod. and being inactive shouldn't stop you from being a mod as well, sorry, I'm not the best person at giving advice
