Is this guy gunna be one of those recurring bumholes that does my head in?

I'm fighting him on the Big Bridge, well I was til he killed me again. I have the horrifying feeling that Im underlevelled and under equipped, serves me right for flogging everything I guess -_-

I'm ok til he decides to use protect haste and all that jumping shizz, I just can't keep myself healed -__-

I officially don't like this guy. He is an arse, I like how I beat him just fine with Galuf and now there is 4 of us he just keeps handing me my arse :stare:
 
I played FFV in FF Anthology, and I didn't have a problem against him; I'd say you were under-levelled dear *pats back* -_-

Maybe you should switch up the job classes?
 
I just handed Gilgamesh his arse just now. I think im slightly underlevelled as well as I seemed to be near death a few times, more than I remember the other times before.

I'm getting Two-Handed for everyone before carrying on to the Moogle bit, as I haven't actually used Knights at all but need the extra power.
 
ya know what? He's easy I beat him before l.v. 20! get a samuri and use zennage and if he uses jump well ether your dead or you need cura LOL!!!
 
I would have a separate Save file for that battle.
Kick his @ss and proceed with the game(Leveling up is the way to beat him) and repeat the battle a zillion times.

Only because he's awesome and i simply L-0-v-3- his Theme song. ^_^
 
That battle on the bridge is awesome. I never had a problem fighting him, and his humor always made the battles pretty epic. He's basically a set-up where you fight him right before catching a glimpse of Ex-Death in the game. Even the very last battle with him is pretty easy from what I can recall.
 
He is not that hard. If you are not well equiped he can be a pain or underleveled but i think you dont even have to train much to beat this guy. I think his best trait is his haste and protect since he becomes a pain in the arse jaja. He is a joke of a character yet legendary jaja.

I even tried to let the battle last half an eternity just to hear that cool song. x3

So I had no problem fighting him (and even losing against him XD). But he was a retard. ^^"
 
I loved battling him, he was pretty easy for me most time. He had some wonderful one liners and a great preview of what was to be expected with Ultros in VI. His music was also very good like someone else mentioned. My favorite encounter was when he had "Excalipoor"...great comic relief.
