Help Gigas Glove or Hyper Wrist? (Advance)

Hyper Wrist increases your character's strength stat. Gigas Glove has no visible effect on the stat list but it claims to increase the character's attacking power. Can someone explain to me how this works and whether or not it makes it better than the Hyper Wrist? I'm rather confused

I think its

Gigas glove ATK +25% (Increases total attack power by 25%)

Hyper wrist STR +50% (Increases strength attribute by 50%)

I'm actually playing through FFVI now and from experience, the Gigas Glove does better, especially at higher equipment levels, whether or not you have major level bonuses from espers.
