Getting married?

i've only just seen this. i dunno if i could do a wedding. i'm do photography for a gig in a few days time and i'm filming a wedding in a couple of weeks, so i suppose i'll have picked up the basics and everything. i can't do any kind of photo editing though, so that would be a problem.

Both our parents knew we were getting married. We had made a formal announcement. But when I saw all the plans our parents, on both sides, wanted to do, I said to self I didn't want any part of it.

Also, even with legal ceremonies in the US, they have to be scheduled in advance. We got married by the Mayor of Hatboro. Which was kinda cool. A small town near Philadelphia.

We actually had a fairly cheap but amazing wedding. It was outside and the site was by a river and a creek that intersected, but it was rented out cheap by the owners. My wife and I wanted to stay out of wedding debt and not burden others for their money so we paid for a majority of everything ourselves. Her dad sent a few thousand dollars to help out which we felt very blessed to have, and my parents paid for food.

Overall, it was a great experience, but I'm so glad it's over with. We have been able to save back a good amount of money now since our big sepnding is over and that was only 2 months ago. Definitely worth every penny though.

Marriage is something that I don't wanna rush into. Nor do I wanna rush into have a child. My goal atm is to wait until I'm atleast 30, have a career type job, financially stable, and can support a family. Not to mention that rushing into marriage isn't smart. I'm not trying to marry and divorce, marry and divorce, no fuck that. I wanna find that one woman that we can live together, get married, and have kids together.
