I am at the ****ig point where I am about to break the ***k out of something!!!! This boss is a big pain in my @**!!!!!!!!!!!! We're talking about the Gardian Beast at the end of chapter 1. I breezed through the first chapter thinking the whole game was going to be a piece of cake and this happens. This guy is annoying as freaking heck!!! I powered up a bunch. guess I will have to some more!

Think, I just wanted to vent. I guess this game isn't as easy as I thought and the venture to reunite Tidus and Yuna might be a little longer than expected.

It's weak to magic. Recommend using a black mage and a white mage. Use all your elemental spells (fire, ice etc) and then have white mage to soften the blow a little bit. I also like to have a warrior or a thief as well just to keep the rate of attack but u can also blind Guardian using darkness dance on songstress (maybe a switch for white mage, use a garment grid with cure added if you do)

Well at this point, if I bother with dance/song to blind him. It takes to long and I think hitting him as quick as possible using all warriors works the best. I will have to do some serious leveling up tonight and if that doesn't work, I will follow your instructions. Never knew I could use mate at this point in time "during" battle. Good to know, thanks!

warriors and breaks, use powerbreak on him, it pretty much my boss tactic for the whole game xD

All I needed was just a little leveling up. I'm lying actually. I needed a whole lot of leveling up. That boss does this photon thing when you get nearer to beating it. It will most likely do around 400HP damage. So being above 700 is vital to winning! ...I think. Well if your like me and prefer to just use physical attacks I guess. Using anything but that will slow you down and cause you to take more damage! I just tapped the crap out of X.

Hahaha I remember this happening to me. I was like "fuck training, I'm just gonna walk around and beat the shit out of any fiend in my way" because I didn't think actually going out of my way to encounter fiends for the sake of training was necessary up until that bitch.

But you have to think, also. How the fuck would you possibly be able to get through Macalania without a strong party? That shit is constantly on 5 stars. Though I guess you never even have to enter the forest to move forward into the game.
