ok im getting kinda frustrated >_<

im sick of saying something in ffx and then hear the reply "oh this dosnt work on peneance"

"oh this is needed for the dark aeons"
"oh this is critical for beating peneance"

i gotten a never ending supply of this since ive been posting on the ffx threads. i feel like a noob when i get these comments.

i want to get this version already. how do i get it. i live in california and it was never realeased here in the us please someone help me with this

In order to play such games in the first place, you'll need either a modded PS2 or Swap Magic Discs. As for the game itself, playasia.com has FFX: International in stock. And from what I hear, they have the Japanese language as the default setting, so you'll have to gather info elsewhere just so that you can configure it back to English.

My expertise on playing import games is very limited, it'd best for you to wait for an answer from someone who has actually bought and played import games using these tools or get some expert advice. But what I can suggest is Swap Magic, since the advantage this has over a mod that I know of is that it doesn't void your PS2 warranty.

im sure if it works on a normal ps2 itll work on a slim ps2 cause i think there the same other then the size...

Yes, there should be ones that are compatible with the Slimline version, it's your call. Just don't hold it against me should anything catastrophic happen to your PS2. ;)

I suggest you Americans stop fucking complaining that you didn't get to play one particular version of the game. They always get released in America months before the European release so be thankful that you get to play it earlier.

The Swap Magic Discs are generally around £15-£25 in the UK which is $30-$50 when converted into USD. But you'll get it at a much cheaper price than that, since you don't live in a country where you have to put up with rip-off prices like me. :(

Also, getting Swap Magic Discs on their own is meaningless. You'll need a Slide Tool and/or a Flip Top Cover, which you can either purchase separately or they come together with the package.

pshhhhhh... well ill try to find this stuff and get it to work i wish you could come to my house and help me lol

how FUCKING stupid can you be. if you dont like it the leave this thread dont post cause its nothin but spam. also id rater wait a while and get the full version the get the watered down one faster

also how much would this stuff cost (the mod chip i mean)

Please do NOT call another member "fucking stupid" on this forum. If I see anything like this from you again, I will infract you for flaming. Consider this a verbal warning. Also, don't tell another member to leave. If we feel it's necessary to tell them to leave, then we will, but it is not your job to tell members what to do here.

Well the slide card is easy enough since that's what i use to import games from japan ^_^
If you have a slimline then i cannot help you there cause ive never had one.

But there are certain parts to the slimline which if you hold them down in place, the ps2 cannot detect whether the disc is from a different region.

oi is there like a webpage where i can know what the heck you are all talking about casue this is a VERY new subject to me also is any of the suggested things that where said be able to be used without havin to open up the ps2?

as for the mod did you read his message to me wasnt that spam thankyou

In the International and Japanese versions you can actually fight the Dark Aeons and Penance plus there is extra stuff like Anima's overdrive can hit 999,999 instead of 99,999. So I'm mad because I have the American version as well...

I would rather much play the game earlier than have extras. Extras can wait.

Yea but I can't find the International at all... It's been about 6 years since the game came out and I still can't even find it.

Download it, burn it onto Dvd-R. Get your Ps2 chipped or buy Swap Magic. Plug in and play. Capiche. :monster:

Alright you guys, sorry I have to step in. Don't discuss anything illegal please such as downloading and burning FF games.
