Front Mission Evolved Arrives in September

Square Enix announced a final release date today for Front Mission Evolved. The HD rethinking of the critically acclaimed strategy franchise will arrive on September 16.

This date is for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The console versions will run ¥8,190. The NVIDIA 3D Vision-compatible PC version is set at open pricing.

Players outside of Japan can look forward to the game around the same time, as Square Enix has it pencilled in for worldwide simultaneous release. Check the global official site for specific dates.

Awesome its been ages Ive touched a Front Mission, I love mecha's , its still turnbased? oldskool feeling with HD graphics, sweet.

They've taken this new entry out of its conventional RTS genre and have turned it into a 3rd person action game. So from what I've seen of it, it looks like another Transformers game or something.

I can't see this being that great to be honest. It will be a surprise to me if this scores past 80% in reviews.
 
Its more like transformers now? Awww that sucks. I dont think it will be good then. Can you play on foot or only mechas? :hmmm: On foot would be a little fun I guess.

No way :O , man I still love turnbased and RTS elements, Im not fond of action elements, (loved Z.O.E. though) if its like Z.O.E. then maybe it will be a good game.

I'll check out some info about FrontMission Evolved, it made me curious now.

Well I've compared it to a Transformers game because it's more of an action game now with giant robots blasting at each other in suburban environments (which sounds like Transformers minus the actual transformation aspect xD). Gameplay wise, it may not be just like that, don't fully take my word for it.

In fact, let me look at it a bit more first. :hmmm:

EDIT: Actually, think Armored Core instead of Transformers...
 
nah I just checked it out on gametrailers.com and man what a dissapointment....:( not worth the 60 bucks.... its like Fleur mentioned = action based with mediocre graphics...

I'll just wait for Zone Of The Enders 3.
