We have recently upgraded our installation of vBulletin to v3.6.7 PL1!
The forum was flickered on and off because SOMEONE found it fun to open it before I had done all the mandatory changes.

Now either it's my browser playing up, or some images don't display correctly on all pages. This is entirely Darkblade's fault, so let's all point and laugh at him.
Alternatively, since he's absent a lot, ButtSaix has volunteered to receive your mocking until such time as Darkblade returns.

You probably won't notice much about the upgrade, but upgrading has ensured our protection against hacker attacks from the big, bad world.

lol well this is good. so what was all that the upgrade do?

Oh i was wondering why it kept going on and off. Twas confluzzled!

he said it protected from hackers soooo.......i think that's it

Anyway i've always wanted to laugh and Saix now i have the Chance =D

ButtSaix...lol

Cool stuff though. Upgrades are usually for the best, so thanks to the man behind the curtain for the upkeep. :)

Anyone else cares to laugh, feel free to make yourselves vulnerable in the process. I'm not in a friendly mood today. ;D

The upgrade was basically renewing our previous 3.6.5 version. Generally making our site better.

On an unrelated note, the post above Busta's freakss me out. Considerably so.

yeah i was also wondering why i couldnt get in for a while....
anyway hope the upgrade is worth it :)

In celebration of the forum updating, I have ''updated'' my avvy. (I'll probably change it back anyway.)

Your new sig wins 5 internets XD

i know, it rocks

anyway apart from being more hack-proof what other benefits are there with the upgrade?

Alright...for principality's sake, (Whaaaat?? That's a real word??) I'll post something relevant so my post won't be deleted.

Would it be possible to let users delete their own threads? That's one of the most basic features a forum could have, not to mention extremely useful when we forget to make a poll in the Voting Booth, or something.

I believe that when you delete your own first post, and no other posts have been posted, the thread goes.
We won't let you delete your own threads and take all others' posts with you, and AFAIK you should be able to delete your own posts. At least I've seen this happening elsweyr.

Yeah, you can delete your own Posts, if you click EDIT then GO ADVANCED you get an option to delete the Post altogether.

Congrats on the Upgrade!

(HAHA Saix! HAHA!)

I already know full-well how to delete my own posts, but how about this? A link to where you can see the unread replies to your threads, or unread replies to threads you've posted in? I don't like always having to go to advanced search, typing in my name, and if I see a reply I want to respond to or something, I'd have to do it all over again.

You can do that by adding subscriptions to threads.
I don't know of a way to quickly fetch what you request thar.
