I basically feel that Snow lost focus very early in the game. He didn't really get much of a role after Chapter 7 really. His only major moments were in flashbacks, his Eidolon fight, and Chapter 7, which featured him quite heavily.

But after that, he never really popped up as something all that important again. He had his lines, but he was mostly just an echo to the rest of the characters, and seemed to be just an extension of Serah, the damsel in distress of the game, and seemed to exist as a connection and love interest to her. Although Lightning did as well, she had other things that separated her from this stereotype.

I'm not saying Snow is a BAD character. I'm just saying that he lost focus. He was the only character aside from Sazh who never backed up another character in their Eidolon fight, and Sazh's wit and one liners kind of kept him in the spotlight. At least as far as I can see. It seems a bit of a waste.

Basically, I want to know whether any of you saw it yourselves, whether you think he didn't quite fade into the background or not, and what you think could have been done to keep him in the spotlight if you agree with my point.

Snow was so damn loud and obnoxious, how the hell COULD he fade to the background? xD

I found he had some moments in Chapter 12, so if he faded after Chapter 7, he came back just before the final show down or whatever :hmmm:

I cant really remember:lew: Snow was always in my party so I kinda just had him around all the time, IDK what they could have done to put the emphasis on Snow anymore, none of the Characters had all the deep a story I think.

Snows was just the weakest of all the FFXIII Character.

Hopefully dude will get some more Screen time in FFXIII-2, still cant believe that is going ahead:awesome:

Time for lunch:hmmm:

I think it was a good thing the spotlight was taken away from Snow..........If he sticked around with you in the game as much as Lightning it would've been Serah this, Serah that. The only time in the game I didn't actually mind him when
When he finds out that he was wrong when he said their focus was to save cocoon when it was just Serah's dying wish. This is the only part of the game when he shuts the fuck up and only for like two hours anyway........when they get to Gran Pulse he goes back to his hero-ing
Hopefully he's NOT playable in XIII-2 and has nothing to do with it........I want FFXIII-2 to be revolved around Lightning........Snow is a self-centered person :mokken: which means if he's in the cast his mouth will just make his problems a bigger priority than others.

I think Snow's story simply showed that Snow was immature and also told a story about his love interest. I think that was enough. I'm kind of glad that the story moved onto other characters rather than being stuck at describing him.

I noticed that too. He dissapeared after chapter three and returned in seven. I think that he needed to be heavily used in 7. Hope needed to settle the score with him. But after that he merely faded away. He had some good moments in the Barthandelus fights, especially if you used him as the leader. I didn't really notice him in chapter 12, I did however in 13. But all in all he wasn't really a part of the game exept for his love for Serah.

I noticed it as well, the next memorable moment for me after Chapter 7 in my opinion was
him and Lightning's talk on Pulse about Serah
. And nothing else memorable happens involving him until the ending.

I mean, maybe like Galaxy Flare if he was in my party I would of noticed him more, but alas. :sad3: It kinda does become more focused on the ladies after Chapter 10-ish come to think of it. :hmmm:
