I was wondering if anyone knew the age requirement for having your earlobe stretched so i can have a hand carved bone tusk in my ear.
The Tusk I want looks something like this:

But before I can have one of them in my ear I need to use one of these types of things:

And as I said does anyone know the age requirement?
If so contact me at: Cosmo.hill@hotmail.co.uk

Er, just ask in a tattoo shop, they normally do that kind of thing

It's prolly 16 anyhoo

Damn it if it is 16 because im only 14.
I wonder if I can get some sterile nails from somewhere if I can do it myself?

Don't be stupid :monster:

Edit* I had my eyebrow peirced when I was 15, got it done prefessionally (even though I was underage) and that has still left scarring, imagine what could happen if you do it yourself?

I don't wear it anymore, but Im lucky I only have barely visable scars, my ex has a more noticable one from where his got ripped out :x

It is a bit stupid but it may end up being my only option seeing as my mother wont let me have it done anyways, but the question I always ask is why because its my body I have to live with the consequences

Fair enough, but I guarantee you will regret it when you're older if you fuck it up. It might not even BE 16, that was just a guess

I'll go ahead and move this to Costa del Sol for you.

That way you can get genuine responses from people who may have experience on this matter. :cassy:

well you need your parents to be there when getting it done. im pretty sure the age doesnt matter as long as a parent/gaurdian is there.i know people who have had it done under the age of sixteen.

Yeah only trouble is my mother wont go with me to have it done and neither will my dad, they said it will not heal right if I make my original piercing any bigger, but all I need to have it stretched to is a 2mm/16gauge hole so I can wear the tusk a mentioned before.
I showed them a picture of my friend who had it done during our 6 week holiday from school and she said she'll think about it(That normally means theres a 1/10 chance she'll change her mind).

If you really want it done, you could convince a cousin, or older brother, or even a friend who is older than you to go with you. Then that person could say that they are your legal guardian. I wouldn't advise it though.

My mum did actually say yes after I mithered her for ages about it, thinking I wouldn't go through with it, or that I wouldnt be able to because of my age, but I went with my mate and her dad and we just pretended we were sisters.....so it would make me a hypocrite if I said don't do it.....

But srsly, just wait. It's not the end of the world just to wait til you are either old enough or your mum agrees to go with you, I mean if you still want it in 6 months time she might change her mind. She might just think you have decided to get it on a whim. Can't really blame her for saying no really. Also if you are serious , research it, show her that you are serious about it tell her you know what can/can't go wrong. I think those stretchy ear things go back to the normal size once removed....although Im not 100% on that....

Firstly its 16 but you need a parent/guardian with you until your 18 I do believe.

Secondly if you do get it done you will smell pretty fucking bad. Alot of my friends have streched ears for tunnels and tusks etc and their ears leave a very horrible smell at times.

Thirdly it says your 17 whereas you've just said your 14. :P
