Square Enix typically charges $39.99 for their Nintendo DS fantasy epics. Chrono Trigger, The World Ends With You, and Final Fantasy IV, also developed by Matrix Software, launched at that price in North America.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light won’t. When the storybook style RPG comes out on October 5 it will retail for $34.99.

October 5th is the other bit of news. Get out your calendar, that’s the North American release date.

Oh, can't wait for this game, read a preview a few months ago, looked pretty cool.

Does anybody know if this is just a remake of FFI or is it a whole other story?

Oh, a price-drop already? Me likes :3

Still not sure if I wanna get the game though :hmmm:

I expect it'll sell for about £24.99 over here...that is considerably higher than the US price when you take exchange rates into account, but...ah well, there we go. Any price drop is welcome - games are really expensive, and with so many ones I want to play coming out this year, my account is suffering >.<
