In the final battle, does anyone know what the three bosses before Kefka are supposed to be? Do they have anything to do with the story, or are they just there for you to fight?

yeah as far as i know there the goddess' that started the war in the first place i ahvent completed the game but as far as i know thats who they are ^_^

I don't think he was on about the Goddesses, but the 3 beings you fight one after the other in a single continous battle right before the fight with Kefka.

They have no significance to the story as far as I can tell from what info you get in the game, though my rough theory is that they may just be monsters Kefka created from magic, using the souls and bodies of beings on the Earth that Kefka reigns.

I think those are also the three goddesses. Maybe Kefka combined them into one ugly deformed freak pillar with him being on top.

Also, Crusader also reminds me of the three goddesses.

Crusader reminds me of them too, they'er epic battle with each other during the War of The Magi. Thing is they don't look like the goddesses you actually fight. :(

In the 3rd stage of that battle in in the advanced version you can steal ultima weapon and ragnarok which gives in extra of each of those assuming you got them both

Final Battle

is it just me or did the last fight really sucked it was way to easy i beat kefka in 1 turn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i did all the work of being prepaired for him did this appen anyone eles:mad:

Overuse of punctuation is fun!!!!!!!

But meh - the final boss is as easy or as hard as you make them - if your overlevelld then they'll obviously be easier.

however your statement is quite wrong - it is impossible to defeat kefka in a single turn as the max damage is 9999 and kefka has 60k+ health - but he can be rather easy to defeat, i defeated him in 6 turns. but meh he's only as easy as you make him

I've found most of the last Final Fantasy fights pretty easy.

Kefka is very simple if most of your party members have ultima.

Kefka has 62,000 hp. A Genji Glove and an Offering allow 8 hits per round. If the character were high enough in level, they could do a maximum of 79992 damage in a single turn.

Some of them really kick my ass... Zeromus was quite a bit more powerful than I had been expecting, Neo X-Death and Necron both have that godawful Grand Cross attack. But I suppose beyond that, yeah they've been pretty easy. Though, I hear the final boss of FF2 or FF3 is actually one of the toughest, uh, ever.

Kefka is notoriously easy. I can beat FF6 way too easily. But 6 is really one of the easiest games in the series anyway, so it's no surprise Kefka's not a challenge.

Well the thing is that if you defeat optional bosses and then go on to fight the last boss chances are you´re already way overpowered and most likely you can defeat them with ease!

FFVI is no exception i actually found Kefka to be one of the longest final bosses of the FF titles that i have already played it´s not so much that his hard but the different forms/towers that you have to face that make him a cool boss!:)

Ooops my bad XD

Then again most final bosses can be defeated in one turn - Sephiroth by using KOTR, Sin by Using Aeons at ridiculously high levels, Any boss in XII with a quickening chain...

So yeah any final boss can be made easy if you have the ultimate equipment and spells and such, so if you want to make them harder the solution is simple - dont use them

The only Final Fantasy bosses that I ever found difficult were Chaos, Zeromus, and to some extent Ultimecia but only because I fought her at a pretty low level.

zeromus is easy and i am yet to fight chaos but ultimecia is a walk in the park with preperation

well it'd really be easy if only you have the certain characters with good spells and equipments by the time you face Kefka. I actually find it hard sometimes when my strong characters are not present in the last fight and may end up being annihilated because of that pesky spell that reduces your hp to 1 (I forgot the name). but yeah it's not that hard if you compare it to Exdeath in FF5. I really didn't think Kefka is that easy. I loved him as a villain but it turned me off. :P

i dont remember much about their relation to the story, but i do remember that you could steal atma weapon, ragnarok and some other sick sword from them and you couldnt keep them which really made me angry. like, REALLY angry.
