Fortitude
Fortitude is a new and upcoming linkshell that will be pushing PvE progression to its fullest. All of the current members have played in top 50 US guilds in World of Warcraft and for those who played FFXI, they ranked among the top 1-2 linkshells in the world. We are looking to take our experience to a new and exciting game. With that being said we are looking to bolster our roster up for the release of FFXIV.
What are you getting in to?
When you apply with us, you immerse yourself into our idealism of what a hardcore guild should consist of, simply put, we will be going for the hardest encounters that are achievable. We will point out your flaws, solely for the sake of improving not only our own, but your end game experience. Yes, we will critique you if you are not up to what the encounter demands, but believe it or not, it is in your best interest; you will have no fun playing this game if you perceive dedication to this game as a chore! You will not feel like you are the only dedicated player in this linkshell. We will have fun in this game and are very active outside of raid times; we want the same from you. If you don't think you will enjoy this game as much as we do, are considering only "trying" FFXIV, or if this is your "last shot" at seeing if you enjoy the "new MMO", then this is not the environment for you. Fortitude is a community of players dedicated to our end game experience, and through this idealism, we are a community, still want to be a part of that?
What do we expect?
- Attendance: We plan on doing endgame five days a week, we expect that you be able to make at least 4 of those five days. You also need to be able to communicate with us about your availability.
- Preparation: We are looking for applicants that are going to be ready for the raid content that Square Enix will be releasing. Members of this linkshell will be required to research encounters as soon as they are released and are expected to know what their role is. You are also expected to know the ins and outs of the class you plan on playing.
- Ventrilo: Ventrilo and a microphone are required. During certain encounters situations may arise dependent upon your assignment that will require you to speak.
- Connection/Computer: You have to a functioning computer that can handle video stress in certain situations. The simple fact of the matter is that you will not be able to do your job with high latency or low fps.
- Attitude: A good attitude and an open mind are the biggest requirements. The ability to take BOTH praise and criticism in a constructive manner is an essential tool to better yourself as a player.

Our PvE progression times will most likely be from 8 P.M. Eastern to 12 A.M. Eastern on Sunday - Thursday. This schedule is subject to change.
