Help FFXIII: need money

okay trying to get the 6 best weapons to lvl 100 however what i have counted i need around 20mil to do this. I have 5k so ya i am so fk doom.
Any one know how to get tons of money then plz tell me.

You need to go back to Eden, where the Adamantoise is - it's right next to a save point. Equip a collector's catlog, and farm him for Platinum Ingots, they sell for 150k each, and have about 1/3 chance of dropping.

You may need to use a summon to knock it over, then spam Vanille's death ability to kill him, depending on how strong you are. Eventually, you should be able kill it normally without needing to use summon and death.

If it doesn't drop an ingot, simply reload right next to it and try again.

Use a teleport to go to Base Camp. Once there, there is another teleport to use to take you back to Orphan's Cradle. Once you're there, you can then use another teleport to go back to Eden.
 
emm my main way is platinum ingots from admantortoise, collectors catalogues are what i used to boost the succes rate of a drop, but i am not strong enough for adamantortoise yet but that will be my strategy when i do :woo:
 
Does the Collector's catalog stack.

Meaning if I have multiple equipped does it raise the drop rate even more?

That's not a stack because they are different items, so wearing both of these will work. Stacking the same catalog does not work though.
 
go to orphans cradle and farm sacrifices. They drop perfumes and scarletite that sell for a ton. Also u can farm soldiers for credit and incentive chips for some decent gil.

I only on chapter 11, have less then 1500 gil, haven't upgraded any weapons yet and have no idea how to make money in order to buy the items needed to do this.. I can't believe Square has made it so difficult to get gil in the game.. Always before you at least made a little from each monster kill, it's ridiculous.. :x3:

I have no idea which of the many items I should sell for gil and which I should use for upgrading my weapons.. And shouldn't I sell off some of these weapons? I'm still using the weapons I started with and now have a nice collection of ones I haven't used yet.. I'm so confused.. :kelly:

If you're on Chapter 11, you're probably at Taejin's tower... Can't you farm Mission 24? Moonblossom seeds sell for 6k each, you can easily complete the mission in 20-45 seconds, run back to the statue, restart the mission, and repeat. Doing this process should net you around 500-700k gil per hour, depending on how strong your party is. The ideal setup is COM/COM/COM, Fang Light and Snow.
