hi every 1 still stuck on the boss aster he is proveing 2 be a right pain now i now have lightning on 740 hp hope is on 550hp lighning is wearing a doctors oders ring 4 the potions 2 be heal better as well. and how do i upgrade my weapons plus cant get lightning 2 use the launch abilty even though she has learned it. her atb is level 4

hi lightning is on 735 hp hope 550 hp and they dont seem to be going any higher im battling non stop the monsters by the boss aster i take the elevator down and fight them all im getting the shrouds but really need fortisol i av the other 1 angesol uses viel and casts shell. but this aster is a pain now i got lignings launch attack but hope keeps diying and i av 2 use phonix downs on him all the time and i only av like 6 but aster knocks so much off u. u end up using them all can some 1 help here im greatful thx.

Equip them both with tungsten bangles, (+150 HP).
If that's not enough, upgrade the Bangles.
If that's not enough, upgrade the Bangles.
If it's a levelling problem you're having you have to actually spend the CP points you accrue on the HP nodes in their respective crystariums.
If it's a tactical problem the following is the official guide's strategy:
Lightning, Hope -
Med, Syn
Com, Rav
Rav, Rav
Com, Med
those are the paradigms specified. Additional paradigm I'd recommend:
Med, Med
The boss uses his exoproofing ability to alter his elemental affinity, therefore casting Libra ASAP is imperitive to ensuring the AI party member attacks his elemental weakspot.
Make sure your characters' health gauges are always above 60% and you should be fine.
Attack with Com, Rav for the first 30% of his chain gauge then switch to Rav, Rav with regular switches to Com, Med when under some abuse.
Com, Rav when his chain gauge fills to launch him. Timing is important seeing as he won't be able to attack you once launched, so time your character's attacks to coincide with the AI member's ATB charge period.
