Some points has been unveiled in the recent inteview allowed by Square Enix to newspaper guys. You can learn interesting things as that the demo is only exploiting 0% of the PS3 and is supposed to use 100% when it will be completly achieved.

Sounds quite exciting, and FFXIII might be something special after all 8D

To be honest this is starting to sound ridiculous to me. While the thought of it is exciting, it just seems so odd that the demo (which is supposed to cover most of the beginning) is exploiting 0% of the PS3's power. Of course I'd like to see FFXIII push the PS3 to its limits but, I can't help but feel a little sceptical at this point in time.

If the demo is using 0% of the PS3's power and the full game is meant to use 100% Then either the demo's incredibly lame, or they don't mean it literally.

Either way, like SaShman, I'm sceptical about this claim, unless we see proof.

They'll be overexaggerating without a doubt, but no game released has really come close to exploiting the PS3's full potential, apart from possibly MGS4. I'd probably guess it's just a way of saying we're going to max out the full potential of the PS3, which was mentioned by SE before, and which is why the 360 version can't be directly ported :awesome:

I'm always skeptical until I get my hands on the game demo or game itself. I just don't see why people would be so bold as to make such a big remark. I guess these days SE is just trying to get the most sales.

Honestly on the PS3 I thought Assassins Creed did a good job of pushing the system, but I never have seen a FF title actually blow the doors off a console yet. I mean I have seen some nice FMVs don't get me wrong and sick graphics, but in order to push the PS3 to it's full potential I expect full cinematics straight from the get go.

I hope they keep their mouth shut and stop getting expectations hyped. If the game tanks, it will be the end of SE. I will remain loyal though and see this puppy through.

Don't worry, you won't be able to tell the difference between real time and FMVs anymore. XII pushed the ps2 really far in terms of graphics. You can only fit so much on one disk anyway.

The PS3 has much more memory, and the graphics are so gorgeous in real time you'll hardly notice any difference.
