i havent played ff7doc yet but ff12 was amazing :)
although both games are alot diffrent from other ff's
 
I think you need to be a little more specific about that one because both of the games differ from each other. DoC is a third-person shooting game unlike the rest of the FF titles. Though I'm stuck with FFXII 'cause I'm loving it's new battle system, summons and all.
 
ff12 is alot diffrent as well
alot of people dont like its storyline cause its too confusing and boring although i fund it really cool and a change in the way ff is now
 
Well, in that case then I'm afraid I'm going have to go with FFXII definitely. Though if you're a huge fan of Vincent, I'd say to get DoC as well. ;)
 
DO NOT BUY DIRGE OF CERBERUS - Wait for the release of FFXII like the rest of us ^_^ FFVII: DoC is a waste of money (I was foolish enough to buy it >_<) it's a good game if you are fanatical about FFVII but it's nothing compared to what FFXII is going to be I'm sure...just be patient :)
 
Hmmm... That is a hard decision... DoC Was alright to me, I was mostly just disappointed in the graphics during gameplay. Meanwhile, FF XII was beautiful, but wasn't nearly as good in gameplay or characters as I would have hoped. It's a toss-up, really...
 
DoC is abit of a hash job, but I'd get both eventually. If it is really between the two tho it'll have to be FF XII hands down. even tho I've yet to play it im sure it isnt as bad as DoC, plus its a fresh new FF instead of a expantion of an older one.
 
To get more bang for your buck, go with Final Fantasy XII. The game will take you longer to beat so you will invest more time in your purchase. Overall it's a great game. Not anywhere close to being my favorite, but it is great.

On the otherhand, if you are totally obsessed with FFVII and all of it's Compilation titles, go with Dirge. The best part of DoC is finding more out about Vincent, Lucrecia, Vincent's Limit's and transformations, and also some NPC's who enter the plot that you can connect back to the originial storyline.

Either way it's a win-win, eventually you will NEED to play both, but I'd choose FFXII over DoC right now.
 
I would have to go with FFXII because....well its 10X better than DoC. If your a die hard FFVII fan I suggest you rent it instead. Trust me when i say this, the only thing worth while in DoC are the cgi cutscenes. The gameplay is horrid and the graphics don't hold up against FFXII. Hope this helps:)
 
Id go for FF12, mainly because of the massive wait fans have had to suffer for! Plus you would get your moneys worth. Ive heard about DoC being completed in 6 hours or something ridic like that.
 
DoC was a bit of a fan fest really for those who like Vincent. It's an alright game, but it was over far too quickly and there's very little or no replay value to it. The stpry was pretty nice to it however, but overall the game felt a bit rushed

Final Fantasy XII on the other hand has everything that DoC doesn't. The characters are given more depth, and the story is the best yet in the series. The graphics are second-to-none and the FMVs have been seamlessly integrated into the gameplay. The voice actors are particularly good (especially Balthier and Fran) and add a lot to the feel of their character

What I'm trying to say is buy FFXII :lol:
 
ff12 is the one its got good gamplay good battle system and good everything
 
hmm... i d havea to say that im a fan of both. ive yet to play FFXII (damn uni) but it looks awsome. and i mean FFVII was my first love when it came to games and DoC isnt too bad...
