Is there a way to break the 9,999 limit uf Ultima? I am having a hard time with Neslug healing in its shell faster than I can beat it down.

Only with break damage limit I think, also isn't Neslug very vulnerable to status ailments such as poison and stone? Or am I confusing enemies?

All Celestial Weapons automatically have Break Damage limit in them. Yuna's Nirvana is the easiest to get, and Yuna has one of the highest magic stats in the game =]

once you have it to 1, 000000 of its hp it will stop retreating into its shell and healing itself. a successful attck rels or 2 should work wonders in getting intdown to that, then all you have to do is thwack it one til its dead

If you dont have break damage you are doomed

To get break damage either, as Artemis said, get the celestial weapons or just customise them so that they break the damage level. You will need dark matters to do that.

Its advised you get the celestial weapons though as getting your hand on dark matter isn't the easiest of tasks.

Without break damage limit you really are doomed so find a celestial weapon or two and your set.

Neslug is impossible with breaking the damage limit due to Regen's healing power. (excluding Zanmato) Its advised that you choose to obtain the Celestial Weapons rather than customizing a BDL weapon yourself; Celestial Weapons also have the power of ignoring the Defense stat, which means they deal more damage than normal weapons.

Anyway, once it has retreated into its shell,you can either Doublecast Ultima continuously, or use Attack Reels/Blitz Ace. Once its shell has been shattered, it uses a new attack, but it should only have 1 million HP left.
