Thanks and welcome to the boards!!

Very nice work so far! Keep it up! I can't wait to see it finished. Looks that it must be very time-consuming as well. Very awesome! (y)

Wow, that looks impressive. I can't imagine how long it must have taken, and I can't wait to see how you do on her upper body. :awesome:

Oh this is very nice Dude! Yuna is my favorite character and you are doing a pretty good job on doing a paper model of her. I would love to see it when it is done :awesome:

Looks really cool!

So how does this work? You print out all these assembly forms on your home computer and printer and glue them together?

Wozers, that's really good. I don't have the paitience to do something lie that. My question is... what are you going to do with it after you're done?

Hi you all. Thanks for the great response i am so happy! I will try to answer all the questions:

-Well done though, im taking personal interest in this, can you PM some more details on it?

Yes, i will post u a PM soon!

-So how does this work? You print out all these assembly forms on your home computer and printer and glue them together?

Yes. But Yuna was more complex. There are Papermodels in the Internet. But there wasn't such a high detailed model out. So i got mine from the FFX-2 DVD (YES I of course have the original :D ) and then transformed it into the assembly pieces on my own with a special software.

-what are you going to do with it after you're done?

Hummm, I dont really know ._. I was just planning to give it a nice place in my room.

I think you mean if i will present it anywhere ? Or sell it ?

That's amazing, keep up the work mate and I'm sure it'll turn out to be a wonderful piece of art.

Yes i think so too. I am planning to put into my application file when i apply at university :)

Stay tuned to my blog. I already finished Yunas Chest. I will post a few pictures this evening and then continue with her arms!

(and i now have a signature, yay ;D )

A metre tall Yuna papercraft model doesn't sound like a very easy thing to do at all. Good luck in finishing it! The bottom half looks excellent so far. About Yuna's "mousetail", will you include that? The mousetail definitely sounds like a rather difficult part of the model because it has to be so long.

Keep going and hopefully be careful! Paper is very fragile. <3

"About Yuna's "mousetail", will you include that?"

Of course the hairtail will be included. i will split it in smaller parts so it is printable but you won't see the splits very much when it is finished .

"Keep going and hopefully be careful! Paper is very fragile. <3"

yes you are right^^ but i use extra thick paper (160gsm) and i supported hips with paper mache.

(and there are inner supporting "walls" everywhere)

btw..i added a video to my blog, its the promised update i told you all about 3 posts ago

Hey it's starting to look really good, I was just wondering if you are going to post the template file anywhere?

Or will you be keeping it yourself?

Good luck with getting it finished =]

EDIT: if you could show me how to do this or get a high detailed version of Auron to make a paper model out of that would be sooo kwl, thanks in advance =]

I am planning to post the templates + assembly instruction when the model is finished but i am not 100% sure. there are a few steps in the assembly which are hard to understand / to explain.

"if you could show me how to do this or get a high detailed version of Auron to make a paper model out of that would be sooo kwl"

There is a tutorial video explaining the steps to get a "ready-to-assemble-model".
It's from a papercrafter called kaizo. I posted you the link to the video via PM...

what i can say is that it is definetely possible, cause i saw aurons files when i looked for yunas ;)

btw.. Yunas right Arm is assembled check out my blog (click banner below)
