I've completed chapter 1, and i'm now doing chapter 2. Theres 2 missions that i don't really want to do. The Gunner Gauntlet (I'm not quick enough to change ammo without getting hit and losing my chain) and the thunder tower calibrations mission. (again, not quick enough after the 26th time)

Do they count towards the completion percentage? and if they do, and i do most of the other missions, i should still be able to get the good ending right?

whats the lowest percentage to get the good ending?

For those I dont believe you have to complete them but you do have to veiw certain senarios threwout the game...Most people will basically get the common ending for every senario the good ending can be gotten by (spoiler ahead i guess )"Good" ending
How you get it: There are two requirements for this ending. Firstly, you
must talk with Maechen in Guadosalam in Chapter 3, and secondarily, when
Yuna falls into the Farplane/Field of flowers in Chapter 3 press X until
you hear whistling 4 times. When you press 'X' in the field of flowers
(Farplane Glen) at the end of the game you'll be given an option by the
fayth. Select the first one ('Yes!') to get this ending. If you want the Good/bad ending chose the second option"Its better this way"
If you get 100% completion you get an extra scean, thats pretty much the "perfect ending" You get all three "good " endings with this

So basically, to put it simply, to get the good ending, do the above, to get the perfect ending, i HAVE to do those annoying quests i hate so much. correct?

M.II if you wan the 100% ending you have to do 100% of the game and that includes those annoying sidequests.

I agree the gunners gauntlet is a pissweak level but just do it and then you dont have to do it again ever because the 100% thing is on your save for good amte

Probably ...wait I never finished the gunners gauntlet,i never got the last one,(though it was a while ago I last played )myself and still got 100%....
Getting the 100% has more to do with the optional sceans and seeing them all and getting the "special Dreshpere"
I would Hunt down a game guide for it if you dont have one because there are a ton of optional sceans thet one might miss mine was the Special Dress sphere~I remember almost crying because I couldnt figure out what I missed so mabey I did finish the gunners gauntlet to acomplish a sertain scean it might hold IDK,I ended up buying the game guid~But it does get easier ,the gunners guntlet, Because after a few days of playing it non stop I could swear I memorized roughly where and when the beasties would attack me but it could have been dumb luck, pay attention to the beasties thet drop burst shot ammo(or something like that) and wait till theres hordes arround you that will build up your gauge just remember to not let them actually get to close to you so they attack your health

There are many levels on the Gunners gauntlet that you don't have to do. I think though you have to at least beat his high score to get
Wakka's sphere.
That counts as a %'age I think.

Maybe that's why I haven't gotten 100%. I haven't calibrated every tower. I didn't think that counted though. The Gauntlet is actually pretty easy. I enjoyed it.

There are more annoying quests later, like the ticket selling. D:

I doubt the towers matter that much.

As for as the gauntlet. It's difficult but not that hard.I thought I would never be able to do it but I managed to do it and get everything.
Split Infinity has a faq on gamefaqs that's pretty comprehensive.

There are a lot of little things especially associated with the comspheres that you have to do to get 100 percent so read his faq.
Good luck.

Yeah, i read his guide, apparently there's a blind spot near the last waterfall.

as for the tower calibrations, i hate the ones where the buttons fall to the middle of the screen :(

Urgh anyways looks like in gunna starin at that stipid ammo screen for a while.
