FFVII vs FFVIII

Tifa and Cloud vs Zell and Squall

Thats unfair u know, u have to put 1 in the FFVIII section.
My vote go to Squall and Zell.
 
Zell was the hand to hand fighter on VIII he was blonde and tattoo on the left side of his face(second fav charater on the series)
 
Tifa and Cloud. Tifa would definately kick Zell's ass. Between Cloud and Squall, I am not so sure..
 
Since this is pertaining to both games, I'm moving this to Final Fantasy Fun and will also keep a close watch on this thread as we have fans of both games. I don't want to see any flaming or I will warn. Please keep in mind if you wish to create threads like this in the future pertaining to 2 or more FF games, place them in Final Fantasy Fun. Yea thats what I think too!
But Zell is Cool u know.
 
Im going to have to go with Tifa and Cloud - much as i hate the former - They would pwn Squall and Zell.

And heres my list of reasons why :
1.Cloud Is emotinally stronger than Squall
2.Tifa is an older more experianced martial Artist than Zell
3.Cloud is an older Far More experianced Swordsman than Squall
4. Cloud and Tifa have actually gone through puberty
5. Did you not see Cloud and Sephiroths sword fight? Cloud won while squall would probably be destroyed - his last words would be whatever.
6. Tifa has a more mature mentality than Zell - and although Zell pwns her in personality - Tifa would be able to focus more on the fight.
7.Tifa is capable of fighting any opponent with a weapon - hence fight with loz - loz only beat her because well hes superhuman - Squall and Zell are not therefore Tifa wins.
8. Cloud is the strongest person in the FF7 world and since FF7>FF8 Cloud wins.


Winners - Cloud And Tifa.

but it would be an awesome fight to watch.
 
Squall and Zell hands down.
Tifa is flimsy and annoying and Cloud would probably have an emotional breakdown. He is only an amtuar mercenery, Squall and Zell are trained in this business since a young age.
Anyways, I would just want to see someone puch Tifa in the face.
 
Well Zell is a kickboxer, and Tifa is a martial artist.
Cloud has more army experience, (5+) years, and Squall has only been training for around 2 years.


I choose Cloud and Tifa.

yep, experiance is very valuable in a fight. I would also say Cloud and Tifa for 2 reasons:

  1. Tifa's fighting style kick's ass and her later limit breaks would make anything feel pain
  2. Cloud was produced with the intention of being at similar skill level to Sephiroth, and in the end beats him, Squall is just a regular SeeD in training. Game over.
 
Squall and Zell. Because I choose to go against the majority. I will post up a real reason soon enough.
 
I say cloud and tifa cause cloud would use omnislash and win
 
Tifa and Cloud. You've seen Advent Children. You know what those two are capable of.

Although I must say that Squall and Zell can definitely deal some heavy damage.
