This is not a thread for me to require your help on a boss but for me to do a thread on a particular method on making bosses that much easier.

Please Note:

This works with most bosses (only few it don't work on or some of the effects don't work)

Method:
When fighting a boss, straight away throw a tent at the boss. Yes it may heal it, but when you've just started it's not doing you any problems. If this is successful the boss can be inflicted with Blind, Silence, Poison. Now this is a very useful tactic which can help you when you a low level. Due to some bosses having status immunities it may not do all of them it may only do one or the other, but for the first two discs I find this a very useful thing to do until you obviously level a lot.

soooo your saying that you can chuck a tent that meant to heal it and it posion, blind and silence... y didn't I know this in the first runthrough

just another tip... once you learn slow chuck that on the boss.. it only really the bosses on disc 4 that are not effected by it :D

couldn't we make this like a tip thread where we can post tips for bosses just an idea

:hmmm:

I guess this would be an entertaining strategy but I wouldn't really use it. Focusing more on your stats, abilities, equipment, etc. Would be a wiser strategy. But I think this would be good if you want to be goofy and have some fun. But I wouldn't take it into consideration for a serious strategy. If your level is too low, then just grind.

:hmmm: yh it does seem a bit like a 'simple win' strategy i seen people do this and i was like :srsly:

It's a decent strategy, but since it only has 50% chance of inflicting any status effects it can be a bit of a gamble. The only boss I ever use this on when playing through is Tiamat, mainly just for the silence because Twister can deal an absurd amount of damage even with good magic defense.

y'know I never even knew that the tents could do that!! Learned something new :D
Although the bosses are super easy in this game, I don't think I'd ever need to try this strategy out :(
