So, there's this new thing called Mobsters on MySpace, and my bro (Vipes#1) and husband kept nagging me to join, so I finally did about half-an-hour ago. After much meddling around in the game, I actually find it quite entertaining.

This is kinda hard to explain, but basically, you recruit your myspace friends and have them join your mob (but really, everyone is the leader of their own mob). The more members you have in a mob, the more powerful you can become. You will then fight other mobs on myspace, who has also created their own mobs. And even if you are offline, other mobs can still attack you and you can still fight back...(the losing mob will depend on how many members you have in your own mob.)

There's more to it than that, of course, but you'll just have to see for yourself.

So, I figured I can make this thread and recruit members here who has a myspace. =] My mob is called, "Suki Yakuza"...nevermind the Yakuza part, ahem. Remember, once you create a mob name, that's it, you can't change it. So far, I've only got 3 people on my mob. :holyshit:

Anyway, here's my myspace so we can create our own FFF Mob and rule the internet!!!!!!! Bwahahaha.

I joined your mob (I think >.<)...I have no idea what I'm supposed to do though, :wacky:

This actually kinda reminds me of the RPG Inferno, only more expanded...you have your health, energy, and you can add points to your ATK, DEF, HP, etc. You can do missions (to earn money and EXP, fight other mobs, buy properties, buy weapons, etc.) You have to wait for your energy, HP, stamina to go up (it replenishes eventually) after you've used them all up.

I'm still getting the hang of it, but it's pretty simple really.

Also, if you go to the Main Menu of the Mobster Page, you can check who has attacked you. I'll give mine as an example:

News Updates: (delete all news)13 minutes agodelete
You were attacked by Bunny Chick.
You won the fight, taking 10 damage and dealing 19 damage to your enemy. You gained 3 experience points.

19 minutes agodelete
Cornsley has accepted your invite and is now a member of your mob!

42 minutes agodelete
You were attacked by Sugafree.
You won the fight, taking 13 damage and dealing 16 damage to your enemy. You gained 4 experience points.

43 minutes agodelete
You were attacked by Moltisanti JR.
You won the fight, taking 9 damage and dealing 20 damage to your enemy. You gained 3 experience points.

45 minutes agodelete
You were attacked by Disturbed Drum.
You won the fight, taking 11 damage and dealing 18 damage to your enemy. You gained 3 experience points.

i will join you as soon as i figure out how to get a myspace and i persuade my parents to let me get one. until then, consider me an unofficial member, your contact with other people, as i have a few friends i might be able to persuade to help out. if you need any help planning strategy or anything, pm me on the forums.

Well, might as well post the FAQ. I just now saw it...

Mobsters FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions
Here you can quickly learn the basics of Mobsters. Expect updates to this page as I become aware of, and then answer, your common questions.
  1. Missions
Complete missions to earn quick cash and gain experience. Each mission has certain requirements like energy, weapons, mob size, etc. New missions become unlocked for higher level players.
  2. Your Territory
Buy undeveloped land and then build on it to increase your income. Once a piece of undeveloped land is built on, it cannot be built upon again. Selling any property gives you back half of what you paid. The more territory you control, the more money and power you'll have!
  3. The Hitlist
Check here to find "hits" that have been placed on other players. A successful hit will earn you a bounty, but it won't be easy. Hundreds of other players will be able to view the same hit. You can place a hit on most people near your level from their Mobsters profile, if you have enough money and stamina.
  4. The Bank
For a $10,000 minimum deposit, you can open a bank account to protect your money from being stolen from an attack by another mob. The bank does charge a slight fee for laundering your money, however... You can withdraw money at your leisure, but be careful! The bank requires you to have at least $2,000 in your account at all times! Only money from the bank can be used to pay the hospital, so make sure you keep some there in case you get hurt.
  5. How Fighting Works
You can attack mobsters at or above your level. The fight results are calculated based on how many people are in your mob and what they are armed with. You should try to have at least one weapon for each of your mob members to fight with, or else some will have to fight bare knuckled. Each mob member may hold 1 weapon, drive 1 vehicle, and be equipped with 1 special item (i.e., a bulletproof vest).
  6. Your Equipment
Go here to purchase weapons, vehicles and other items. New items are unlocked when you reach higher levels.
  7. Your Mob Family
Here you can view who is currently in your mob. This is also where you can accept people's invitations to join their mob and send out your own invites. Click the "REFRESH" button on the top toolbar if your mob count does not go up immediately. Note: Your friends must accept your invites before they become part of your mob!

In a fight, each member of your mob will be armed with whatever equipment that you own. Your mob's strength is limited by your level as well as how many members you have. At level 1, a mob with lots of members will only have a small advantage over a level 1 mob with very few members. However, the size of your mob takes on more importance as you reach higher levels.
  8. Your Mobster
Here you can increase your stats (maximum health, energy, attack strength, etc.) using your skill points. Click on "Stats" at the top to view your current mobster profile in more detail, including a record of your achievements.
  9. Your Mobster Name
When you begin to play, you'll be asked to pick a name to be known by on the street. Choose wisely, because you can't change your name once you pick it! Unfortunately, at this time, you can't start the game over even if you remove and then re-install the app. (A restart feature is coming soon!)
  10. Your Class
You can choose from among three character classes. Each has specific advantages. Tycoons gain income 10% faster, Bulletproofs regain health 10% faster, and Insomniacs regain energy 10% faster.
  11. Missing Points From a Completed Offer?
On The Godfather page, visit the link that says "Missing favor points?" under the big green button. There is a company that runs all these offers, and they can help you directly. I am unable to help with favor point issues unless they tell you that they were issued. Sometimes there is a delay while the offer is confirmed on their end, and the offer will often specify how long it takes.
My advice: Don't use your 10 favor points (under Godfather section) yet! This is how it works...

Godfather will offer you $10,000 for 10 favor points (after you use up your 10 favor points, that's it - you'll have to sign up for offers online if you want to get more, which is pretty useless and dumb) once you sign up.

The money will increase twice as you level up. So, when you get to level 2, he'll offer $20,000, and so on and so on. I'm on level 10 and he's currently offering $100,000. xD By I'm gonna wait until I'm level 20 or something before I collect the money.

Oh, so THIS is why I had an invite, I thought it was like all the other appliation invites, like, just something they´ve spread to everyone for no reason >_>

I´ll join it next time I log into myspace
