FFF Mimics on SO

Well then, your mimic is now in their bar calling out the entire forum and raising a general maelstrom.

My biggest concern is that people will actually think it's me and i'll end up getting banned on here. So i'd like to officially state for the record that the Kain on SO is NOT me.
 
I would think that this would be somewhat obvious considering the signature on the account is "They'd better not impersonate me or there'll be hell to pay."
 
I wouldn't worry about it man. I'll try and see if I can sort something out. I'm not promising anything, but I doubt anyone would confuse you with the Kain over there
 
Don't worry too much, Kain. The Kain I know is much, much quieter than what they made you out to be. ;)

EDIT: xD Heh, apparently a "Gaaramaster" has my signature there as some sort of humor about the raid...as well as Aeris Gainsborough and Rydia's. Woot! ;)

I have an impersonator, ftw. I'm fine with it, except the jerk stole my animation. Those are my property....... THEY CAN'T STEAL THEM. Tho I ain't made they're copying me. Whaddah ya gonna do with them? Just shows how they can't live without someone as good as me.
 
Well if it that's what they need to do to be happy, then I give them my permission to mock my sig. Not that they wouldn't do anything without it.;)

Naw, you're plenty important. I'm sure any day now somebody will impersonate you on SO... (Wasn't this thread about how mad people were that they were being impersonated? Golly this is complicated...)

Note: Sarcasm doesn't carry too well over "teh intranet"
 
Now that i think about it, i don't care if they're impersonating me. Just shows that they're jealous of my awesomeness^_^
 
because of the reason Kain said, they are jealous of us, they wish they had what we have. So instead of getting it themselves, they try to copy us.

Well, if that's the case, then I think that someone else should be trying to sort this out.
Please understand that this isn't me getting at Darkblade, far from it. However, if he's starting up shit over there, I think it's best if he stops. So, if you're reading this Darkblade...
 
Well that's our theory, and we have reasonable evidence for that but ah well. It doesn't really matter.

He wasn't raiding it, he was posting topics like "Bitch about FFF here." He didn't announce that he was Darkblade initially. He told their head administrator that he was in fact Bone on AIM, the chat was logged and posted by their admin, who seems to have difficulty keeping his other admins and members in line, but seems honest enough. When a different admin checked Bone's IP address to see if he was an alias, it was discovered that the IP matched the original person who had sent out mass spammed Private Messages advertising FFF, so it was Darkblade who had sent the messages out that upset the members in the first place.

In the logged chat, Darkblade all but admitted he was hoping to cause trouble and make them come over and raid again. The thread was then closed, but DB just kept starting more identical threads, so they reopened the original one and moved it into their flame forum, where naturally Darkblade was verbally attacked, but he kept opening more threads and generally acting pretty childish.

The raid over there was actually their members impersonating members from here, but it seemed to be purely for comedy, I don't think they even did it to make fun of anyone from over here. They just made fun of their own members who were dumb enough to fall for it. Darkblade didn't seem to have anything to do with the fake raid, it just went on at the same time that he was riling them up. That seems to be the theme of their site, to make fun of their own members, and call each other stupid. I don't think it has much to do with Final Fantasy or intelligent discourse, so I find it a bit banal overall, but like to keep abreast of developments. I could show you the threads, but the links for ShinraOnline don't work here for some odd reason.



Honestly, this all just seems like one big April Fool's Day joke to me.
