Hello all. :) I wondered if anyone knows of somewhere I could play FF8 online and maybe 9, 10 and 12 as well! I am moving around a lot and going where the work takes me so I am not able to go gathering discs and consoles and I wanted to play it in a more convenient way.

I got a Playstation emulator but it is a seriously complicated thing to set up!

Well I'd recommend getting the steam versions of 8 and 9. Most laptops from the last 5-6 years should run them just fine and they're fairly inexpensive! IX is on sale until April 20th on steam actually. I'm not sure what to tell you about 10 and 12 though.

As Westershire said, VIII and IX (which recently came out as a PC port) can both be purchased via Steam.

Our forum does not support emulators. Just a heads up that posts suggesting these / giving out info for them will be removed.

I'm guessing you probably don't have a Playstation Vita, but you should really consider it as a portable Final Fantasy machine. Plays every game from Final Fantasy I to X and X-2, and with a reasonably-sized memory card won't require any managing cartridges. Comes with a bit more of an up-front cost for sure, but Vitas are really not expensive at all these days and then you get proper Playstation buttons to fiddle with to boot. If you want to play on a bigger screen the PS Vita TV is an even cheaper option that will run all the same games. Personally I have both and it's a pretty great duo--play FFX on Vita while out and about, come home and plug the memory card into the PS TV and pick up right where I left off on the big screen. Really under-appreciated little devices, both.
