Fellow anime fans and fellow manga fans do you know any good, great and awesome sword fighting anime/manga like Blade of the Immortal?

I'm asking ahead of time because I am almost finish with Blade of the Immortal I'm on episode 13(final) so far and so far I love it at www.animehere.com and yes I have a account on there awesome fighting scenes yes I admit one of the anime girls I loved on there that I find her attractive and in my opinion she is a badass if you saw how she threw her knifes.

And yes she is now one of my favorite characters and yes the swordsman Manji is one of my favorite anime characters as well and I love everything about that anime yes I admit some of the scenes is sad not all of it awesome plots.

And sorry if I ask a again but fellow anime fans and fellow manga fans do you know any good, great and awesome sword fighting anime/manga like Blade of the Immortal?

Anyway if you know some animes and manga is any good, great and awesome sword fighting anime/manga like what I said please tell me and us and I let you know as well in reply to you if I've seen it and tell you if I love it thanks :)

This sounds like a more Japanese version of Hellsing Ultimate to me, which trades samurai for vampires and Nazis, and is likely considerably more violent :hmmm:

If you wanted something a little less serious and a little more flamboyant you could try watching Sengoku Basara, as well. That has AMAZING fight scenes; it's pretty much all that anime is. The characters are fantastic, and that it's loosely inspired (I say loosely, because I don't think Tadakatsu Honda was actually a giant robot with a drill lance, but then, I wasn't alive in that era, so I'm not sure) by actual history might make it appealing if you're into that sort of thing. Plus Date Masamune speaks in Engrish a lot, and Norio Wakamoto voices Oda Nobunaga in the first season and movie, and Hideyoshi punches apart the ocean in the second anime. It doesn't get much more awesome than that.

I haven't actually read/seen Blade of the Immortal, but I know a few anime/manga with some good sword fighting.

Anime:

Samurai Champloo has some great fighting scenes. Plus, it's a pretty amusing experience overall.

Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X is a classic that I loved to watch on Cartoon Network way back when. I would highly recommend the OVA Seisouhen/Reflection - a very touching prequel to the series.

I haven't actually seen Berserk, but it's always been praised as one of the greats.

Manga:

Vagabond - A manga of the story of the life of Miyamoto Musashi. Definitely a must-read.

Seisouhen isn't a prequel, it's a sequel (If you didn't watch this, then things will probably change for you). Tsuiokuhen is the prequel, which is SUPERB.

Sword of the Stranger - A movie which you might enjoy.

Ah, yeah. That's the one I meant. I got them mixed up. I would also recommend Seirei no Moribito.
