Lew and I were just discussing on MSN the possibility of a weekend in Ireland sometime next year and I brought the idea up with Vikk....

As It turns out on Feb 7th its Vikk's birthday and also Mark turns 18 on the same day!

Vikk being orginally from Ireland and here hometown being Dublin, have pretty much sealed the deal for a pissup in Dublin next year during the weekend beginning the 5th...In what would be...A very Irish happy birthday....Getting massively drunk in the City renowned for producing some of the finest ales in the world ^^

So now the question is......Who is interested?

The Date will DEFINATLEY BE: 5th-8th Febuary

It will definatley be a weekend in Dublin.

And I'll be doing all the research on bookings, etc at the nearest convienent time.

So drop your name in the thread if your want to come along and lets make this a Very Irish Hoorah! For a Very Irish girl, not forgetting welcoming another to the magical world of legal drinking ^^
 
its my mums bday that week, so getting a babysitter will be nigh on impossible unless i can get him or his mum to do it, if the returning day is Sunday I MIGHT be able to do it, ellie will have school and shit

I think il also need a passport....

I cant really confirm anything yet though

I might come over, if the Irish embassy were kind enough to give me a Visa, I think my university ends before that day and starts after it like on 20th Feb, so there's a chance I might come over. <_<

I want to, and I'd have said yes straight away...but, with Uni, I don't know how terms will look. 5th - 8th is over 3 days, is that over a weekend, or during the week? I'd also have to get time off work, and that's complicated enough right now because I'm going to be going between Glasgow and the top of Fife every few months with my job, I need to make arrangements about that :wacky:

Basically, I need to find out the deal with Uni before I can confirm or deny, and I doubt I'll be able to do that until, get this, September/October time xD

this is all gunna be dependent on Barry coming up and ugh....staying at mine with ellie so he can take her to school -_-
 
already checked it up, its friday-mon but there will be people travelling back on sunday night, the reason for the extra day is I'm sure some people will be wanting to get rid of there hangover, so the extra day is there "just in case" ^^
 
5th is a Friday - 8th is the monday. >_>

I don't mind going back on the 7th (sunday) with you Kelly so you're back in time for school for Ellie and so you're not going back alone. I'm nice like that. >_>

Ah right, well, Il just have to hangover it back on the sunday, wouldnt be the first time

Also, we may not need passports either (those of us rowing anyway) so thats one less thing to worry about

Second semester starts on the 9th of February, or mine does anyway but I presume yours will be the same. Cutting it a bit thin in my opinion but that's just me, I wouldn't have went anyway. >_>
 
I know the term times for ellie and she hasnt started school :wacky:

Because my birthday is the 11th and I wanted to know whether I'd be in uni or at home. And also I have nothing better to do than memorise pretty much every information page for new students on the uni website. >_>

Though if you start on the 14th then you might be different anyway, Fresher's is 19th-26th for me.
