Who else *loves* this show as much as I do? It is probably one of the if not the funniest programme I have ever watched. xD

Those who don't know what it is, it is basically a programme about 3 Irish priests, but is wayyy funnier than I would have ever imagined. =P



'Would you like a cake? They've got cocaine in them! ..Oh no not cocaine, um, what do you call them, raisins!' =D

 
Mrs Doyle: Now... what do you say to a cup?
Father Jack: Feck off, cup!

yeah i love it. its really well written and well acted.
whats your favorite episode?
i like the one where all the bishops are coming to craggy island so they have to get jack sober and then teach him how to speak
 
The two episodes of this class comedy that come to mind are the Christmas Special since it was one a couple weeks ago and the Speed one where Dougal is a milkman. Loved the sequence where Ted rushes ahead to move the cardboard boxes before the milk float hits them.
 
Ah, God Bless Father Jack! I love most episodes, but I do like the one where Mrs.Doyle launches herself into a whole load of swearing:

Fantastic series, possibly the best British comedy Channel 4 has done...well British and Irish comedy I should say ^_^

The four main characters are great, and I like the more surreal touches of humour at times (like Father Jack hallucinating after he drinks Toilet Duck). My favourite episode is the Dougal as milkman one (Speed 3), the last line of it always has me in stitches. Though the kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse one runs it close.
 
Oh yeh, all of their episodes are classic if you ask me xD Lol kicking bishop brennan up the arse, that was hilarious! :P

They always intended to stop after three series, but of course Dermot Morgan (who played Ted) sadly passed away almost straight after they finished filming the third series.
 
WTF, I swore I made a FT thread already. How fucking bizzare ...

This show will always be an alltime fav of mine. Just love each episode and the cast are brilliant. Real shame Ted passed away, the final epsiode where Ted goes to America has a nice collection of clips and I think thata was done as a tribute to him as he died mid filiming.

Yeh, I'm pretty sure that Dermot Morgan didn't want to carry on after the 3rd series because he didn't want to be typecast. Such a shame about his death though. ='(
 
I think last night I saw the actor who played Father Jack on the TV talking about his character, and it was really strange to see him not being Father Jack. Obviously he looks so different XD

Father Ted's cry of 'ARGH! WHAT AM I DOING ON THE FECKING WHEEL?!' in the aeroplane episode is pretty priceless too.
 
Yeah I watched that aswell. The makeup on that show is great, Mrs Doyle is very young as well. So her makeup is class as well lol.
